4.5 cu. ft. Mini Fridge with True Freezer in Stainless Look

I am extremely disappointed with this purchase and with the condition in which it arrived. The item was advertised and sold as new, yet when it was delivered, the box had plastic tape wrapped around it and the bottom of the carton had been completely cut around the edges, allowing the top portion of the box to lift off. This immediately raised concerns about whether the product had previously been opened or handled. Unfortunately, those concerns were confirmed when I removed the top of the carton and found that one corner of the item was damaged, dinged, and visibly gnarled. A new product should not arrive in this condition. I expected better quality control and packaging standards from Home Depot. Receiving a damaged item in what appeared to be a previously opened box is unacceptable. This experience has been very disappointing, and I hope steps are taken to ensure customers receive products that are truly new and undamaged.

The product was delivered with 9 dents on it's door, sides and top plus scratches. Additionally. the exterior packaging was badly damaged. UPS driver drove off before I could closely examine it. So far Home Depot will not replace it or come and get it. If you can go to the store and buy it and examine it before you put it in your vehicle.

Upon opening after delivery, fridge was completely damaged and had cosmetic damage. I attempted to contact MagicChef directly for a replacement and they stated they coud not do anything and to contact the Home Depot. Hopefully Home Depot can send me an undamaged product.

I bought this for my son for college. I wasn’t home when it was delivered and didn’t inspect the box until the following day. The box is a completely damaged and it looks as if it were a return. I’m hoping that it’s not since we are on a time crunch now to drop him off. Hopefully, it works because otherwise this “new” fridge is being returned.

One star for 2 day delivery. Otherwise, ZERO stars! SKU # 1000045595 Black 2.6 cu.ft. Majic Chef Mini Fridge. The Good: Had it shipped to my home. Quick, 2 day arrival by Fedex, arrived yesterday. The Bad: The box was beat all to heck. The bottom of the box was completely unattached (looks like it wasn't even the original box bottom) and held on by 4 nylon shipping straps. Lots of tears and obvious damage to the box. "Opened" (it was already open) the box after cutting the straps and lifted the box straight up since the bottom was not attached whatsoever. MULTIPLE dents on sides, back, front and one back corner of the mini fridge. WHAT THE HECK? I cannot believe that Home Depot allowed this to be shipped from its Georgia warehouse if the box looked anything like it did on arrival, and I cannot believe that Fedex allowed this to be delivered to my home in this condition. It should have been returned as damaged to Home Depot based on the damage to the box. I am returning this mini fridge to my local Home Depot in the morning. I am going to give Home Depot one more chance to get this right due to the price and reviews, but I am having the Mini Fridge SHIPPED DIRECTLY TO MY LOCAL STORE (5-7 days?) where I hope it will be in better shape than it was when it got here yesterday. It’s quite noisy. It arrived with dent on front and side but didn’t bother to return as most all reviews say are dented. Figured it was just cosmetic but now I wonder if that’s why it’s noisy. And freezer frosts up in 60 days. I may file claim as I bought extended warranty.

Either FEDEX mangled the carton the fridge was shipped in or HomedDepot sent me a return. The top of the fridge was dented and a long crease was on the door front. I guess I can live with that since it is a patio fridge. BUT, filling the can rack with standard 12 oz cans prevents the door from being closed. The cans hit the glass shelves. Returning it tomorrow.

It got delivered with a little dents, but it’s a work fridge. So I didn’t mind. It works great

HD handling was garbage but thankfully it’s the back that is damaged. Not driver fault somewhere in the handling it was knocked up. Ok so I was after a mini fridge for my dry bar. Seeked out a Frigidaire from BB then found this MC on sale and went for it. The main feature I wanted is 4.5cuft and a real freezer. Nailed it with this one. Sharp looking and the adjustable feet helped level out on tile floor.

The mini fridge arrived with some dents as many other buyers reported but nothing significant. I loved the separate freezer door which unlike the cheaper models, actually seals the freezer. The disappointing thing is that the refrigerator never worked. I stood the fridge upright for 48 hours before plugging it in. The compressor clicked on, but the inside never cooled. When I went to order another one the price had gone up and so I just returned it to HD.
