This product is excellent and easy to use to repair a crack and/or chip on a regular shower tub. Also, I am extending the use of this product for sealing the grout lines of my three (3) shower room walls and floors. I have completed my master shower room and it looks Immaculate white and super clean. I am currently working on the second shower room and again, it looks great! The volume or the amount of epoxy is just excellent for my intended each use, about 1 hour application and still easy to work with, not hardened. As noticed, I have bought all of the Magic Porcelain Chip Fix product at the Home Depot Stores near me in the last 4 weeks or so. Although, I need more packs at least 15 to complete my "shelter at home" project. Thank you.

Product will not cure or dry
We redid our bathroom, and final step was to repair the bathtub that had some scratches. It covers well. It was only $6. Problem is, it wont dry!!!! We live in Arizona, so humidity doesn't come into play here. Over 72 hours and it is still tacky. I tried cool setting on hair dryer too, fanning it 2 feet away....still tacky. Don't waste your money on this product. (Also it was not user error. My husband has used epoxys for years, and have never had problems with an epoxy.)

Sorry to hear of your disappointment. When using these types of product, it can be frustrating due to the very specific instructions and work that comes with using a product like this. Depending on the humidity levels, if the product was not mixed or left out for allotted time, or applied too thick, these can affect the drying time and it can take much longer than usual for the product to cure/dry. The product can be removed by using a lacquer thinner.

This is worthless and a waste of your time and efforts. I followed the instructions exactly and after a week, the product is still tacky. (It has been humid, but the product should cure. The instructions say up to 72 hours). As a boat owner, I am highly experienced working with epoxies and coatings. This is not a case of improper application. This product is not worth your time and money!

The first time I tried it, a year ago, I had the same results as other where it wouldn’t harden but it decided to give it another try on a small chip on my tub. Maybe because I did a better job at following the directions, it worked much better. I used thin coats and it hardened within 24 hours. It’s been about a month now and no signs of peeling or coming off. I would’ve given it 5 stars but the color is bright white and a little whiter than my tub but still better than looking at the black chip.

        Porcelain Sink Rust Repair
We had a rusty overflow hole in sink rust out. Product filled it in beautifully. Taped around area & then applied with brush provided with kit. Two hours later pulled up tape & let dry for 2 days.
