Soooo pretty and excellent quality! We used it for the drawers of our dresser but I want to put it on a wall now too.

Not as Hard to Install as I Expected
This was easier to hang than expected. I’m by no means a DIY pro. I’m a 6-month pregnant lady and I was able to hang this wallpaper in my nursery. I did most of the installation myself in the course of 2-3 hours. I did get some help holding the panel in place while I cut around our window trim. The window corners were by far the trickiest bit. All in all, this pattern is pretty forgiving. I’m not a perfectionist so there are a few wrinkles throughout and seams that are not perfectly aligned. But when you step a few feet back, you can’t tell at all.

Great looking wallpaper, not too hard to apply.
It looks great, wasn't too difficult to apply. However, I had to put it on a stair hallway which I assume is more difficult than a standard room. The only problem is, the last few feet of three of my ten rolls had creases. Therefore, I wasn't able to use those pieces for long runs, causing me to buy another roll.

The olive version of this wallpaper is beautiful. The paper is thick and it easily concealed nail holes that I filled with spackle a few days prior to installation. It was easier to hang and reposition on the wall when I lightly spritzed some windex before applying each section- before I did that I had issues with the paper wrinkling. I only needed 50 square feet, so I ordered two rolls and figured that 68 square feet was enough extra. The pattern repeats every 2 feet, so there was A LOT of waste. So much, in fact, that I had to order another roll and pray it was from the same lot- it comes in tomorrow so we’ll see. For the cost, I would expect the pattern to repeat in a way that wasn’t so wasteful. It was a challenge to get all parts of the pattern to align- it’s not very forgiving so you need to have a lot of patience when it comes to hanging. It was very time consuming for such a small space. Despite all of this, I still love the design and the quality of this wallpaper.

I love this wallpaper. It looks amazing and adheres to the wall very well. However, I made the mistake of putting it over freshly painted walls which the instructions say not to do, I had to use wallpaper paste to make it stay up. But, when I followed the directions and patiently waited for the walls to be dry for the appropriate time it worked perfectly.

I was very pleased with how easy the application of this wallpaper was. I absolutely love the look of it as well. I was worried it might be creamier than I wanted, but it was just what I needed and is a bright but soft white.

Exactly what I wanted. It worked out perfectly. A little difficult to get the hang of it but once you get going, it's a lot easier.

The quality of Joanna Gaines' wallpaper is excellent and as expected! The wallpaper is easy to hang because the paper is thick and is easy to lay flat against the wall. I used someone to help me line up the pattern before taking the sticky backing off. I personally recommend the Peel-and-Stick types of wallpaper over the pre-pasted wallpaper, which is messier and doesn't stick as well. This peel-and-stick wallpaper is very forgiving and is easy to apply without leaving any wrinkles. I used an old credit card to apply the wallpaper. One trouble I had was that the leaf pattern did not line up exactly to the wallpaper next to it. However, it is not very noticeable from a few feet away, and I would still chose this one again. This design is bold, but gives the room a cool pattern.

            Difficult, but worth it
So, let me start out by saying the finished project is everything I had hoped for and more. However, to get to that point was quite difficult. Now we do have slightly textured walls and the product is not recommended for that. But after reading some reviews we decided to try it anyways. So we spent 4 hours start to stop. We laid out one sheet and measured the length of the wall, top/bottom, leaving about 3 inches extra space. Then we measured out the second strip and lined up the pattern. I don't know if it was the height of our walls or the pattern in the roll, but to line the pattern up perfectly we had to waste about 1.5 feet of wallpaper per each roll. This was kind of a bummer but it is what it is. Putting it on the wall was slightly difficult, we were surprised because it seemed like such a simple concept. One we got each strip started, it got easier. We used a smoother and pressed firmly onto the wall. We also used an extremely sharp box cutter to score the top and bottom so it was perfectly even with the ceiling and baseboards. Honestly, that was the easiest part! We put 7 sheets up, working around outlets and thermostats and an archway. By the end of the four hours we both agreed it looked perfect, but it was too much work. Adding insult to injury (ha) two days later, we woke up and a piece had started falling from the top down. We agreed we had done way too much work to just rip it down and toss it so we purchased some wallpaper glue. The next night, bodies still sore, we half way rolled the paper down from the top and applied the glue, and rolled/smoothed it back up. Looking back we should've just done this from the beginning. Even if your walls were perfectly flat or even freshly sanded the adhesive isn't sticky enough. It reminded us of stickers we give to our children that are super easily transferable. If you do this, use glue. The end result is absolutely stunning and we are so happy with the way our wall turned out. The paper is definitely permanent so hopefully this doesn't go out of style any time soon!
