These Makita chisels are not as durable as the Bosch...
These Makita chisels are not as durable as the Bosch chisels. I used them to break large boulders, and within 30-45 minutes the Makita chisels were so dull they had to be replaced. The metal actually showed signs of melting. The Bosch chisels - which are more expensive - typically last me 2-3 days of the same type of work.

I bought this based on Home Depot Saying it fits the Xtreme jackhammer I bought. It does not. It has a square end NOT the round end you need for the Xtreme band of jackhammers. So the 1 star is not for the bit itself but the fact that Home Depot lists it as the correct fit for Xtreme Brand jackhammers. So just make sure what type of end you need for the jackhammer you have.

Used this chisel along with the Makita power scraper on removing tile from a inground pool 18 x 2...
Used this chisel along with the Makita power scraper on removing tile from a inground pool 18 x 20 and 4 ft deep. Needed 2 but it went quick and did the job well. Very happy.
