Makita's Dual Purpose Diamond Blade Slices!
I was testing out the cut quality of the 10" segmented diamond blade on a field stones on my property. The blade is installed in a HF 10 inch wet tile saw with sliding table.
Overall cut quality is excellent. You can see from the photos how smooth it left the stone slices.
On a lumpy stone with no flat surface, I was surprised how good the cut quality is.
This was on a water pumped wet tile saw; I know the blade is rated for dry cutting as well in overpowered gas-powered saws to slice up asphalt and concrete. But for my needs, I think being able to slice up field stones for veneer work is perfect for me!
I have two exterior walls that need to be veneered on the foundation walls. Using a good wet tile saw and these Makita segmented blades will make the job go faster and with quality cuts.

This blade works quite well for a variety of masonry materials, particularly on brick. I don't have a lot of experience with brands but it works at least as well as any other I've used. It doesn't seem to get overly hot, and the cuts are clean, swift, and smooth. I'm not sure if it's due to design, but the dust output seems surprisingly low. The tenth cut into standard concrete was as good as the first, so I'll take their word for it that it offers a long life.

No issues cutting with this segmented rim diamond blade saw. I love makita products and this is another item that will join my list of makita tools. I'm not sure why it's black and not silver like all my other saws but i can't really tell the difference when I cut with it. It was able to cut my bricks pretty well. I did use some water to help keep it cooler. Hopefully it'll last a longtime, or at least until I can repair all the bricks in the front yard.

The Makita 10 in. Segmented Rim Dual Purpose Diamond Blade lives up to the reputation that Makita has built for quality tools. This blade is designed for cutting block, brick, concrete and pavers and we put it to the test last weekend cutting concrete pavers for a new sidewalk. This blade worked wonderfully on my table saw to create precise cuts that made the final project one to be proud of. I would recommend this high quality tool for anyone who is planning a diy paver project that required precise cuts. .
