Just what I needed
I tried a neighbor's corded leaf blower and of course did not like dragging the cord around all the plants. I attached a photo of the yard. So the leaves from the trees need to be blown off at least every week.
This Makita works great! It has a variable speed control to set a continuous speed and then a lever to blow at higher speeds when you want. The battery life is great; I used it four times on one charge. It is lighter weight that a corded blower too.

I watched a lot of reviews on a lot of blowers and decided to go with the makita since I have other tools and like them. Best decision I made for a blower. Has a lot more power then I expected yet also wanted out of an 18v blower. I'd buy again for sure without question. Blows wet leaves pretty decent for what it is as well.

I’m impressed with this blower, super light weight, I do have another gas blower and still works but is heavy and I have to carried on my back, plus when I don’t use it that often it takes at least 6-7 pulls to make it run,
Now this Makita blower it makes my duty’s so easy, not only to blow the leafs of my front driveway, and the back patio ,also I use it to blow the extra water when I wash my truck, It takes about 30 min to full charge the battery, I don’t have to carrier it on my back, I’m very please with this makita blower

I have to say that this blower really surprised me, in a good way. I have a different brand battery powered leaf blower now that I thought was ok. This Makita blower put it to shame. I can’t believe the force this thing generates. It has very similar force to my old gas powered blower. You can feel the “kick” when to press the trigger, which surprised me. I couldn’t believe the force it generates, compared to my other one, no contest, this one beats it hands down. It also has the ability to blow without constantly pressing the trigger, which is nice for a large area. I would definitely recommend this Makita blower.

This has the power I need.
I was looking for a lightweight, cordless, adjustable speed blower. The nozzle is appx. 17" in length.
I love that there are no cords or gas to deal with. This is perfect for the garage, the shop, porch, patio, sidewalk, and deck. My son also uses this to blow off the car to dry it, after washing.
Works with my 18v Makita battery and charger, which is awesome.
I have used it all around my house and yard. I live in Arizona, so I can't speak for a yard full of leaves, like up north, but it worked great for my needs.
The only reason I knocked a star off, is because this really needs a more narrow nozzle extension, as this one is rather wide, so the air cannot be directed as well, it is more of a wider area, but it still more than satisfies my needs, and I believe I can buy an extension for this...
This unit does have good power and works well.
Also, my battery has lasted as long as I needed it, with more battery still left, so I am happy, and it is Makita brand, which is such good quality.
I would recommend this blower.
I think this is a great buy, especially if you have the 18v Makita battery. A great addition to your Makita tool collection.

The Makita Blower works great, it comes ready to get to work, and there are accessories available to add for easier or extended use. The blower easy cleared leaves, small rocks and debris. It does have a power of 116MPH velocity and 459 CFM. It comes with a hex tool to tighten it together, and the cruise control comes in handy so you do not have to pull the trigger continually while using it.
It is compact and light at 6.5 lbs. with the battery on it and it is ready for a shoulder strap but I don’t think I need it.
The blower does not emit gas or does not need an extension cord and the battery lasts quite some time and if you have an extra-large yard then an extra battery will do the job.
Overall this is another good quality product by Makita, good quality and works great.

Does a great job and is lightweight. The only negative is that a 4 Ah battery will last for perhaps 40 X 80 ft. Your mileage may vary, and you may wish to invest in batteries. Great for what it does; it's good for me.
