This Saw is a Tank! Multi Killer
Update my Review: This Saw is a Tank! Well build Quality Japanese Genuine Parts from Japan BUT assembled in China. Not just that this saw is being a tank, but overkill for Woodworks, Lumbers and Multiple Materials all you need is just a good quality variety of saw blades. Technically you are holding a Chainsaw in a circular Form! That's what this is! I love it and highly recommend it!

This is a very nice saw with plenty of power and adjustments that work well. Also you can push a button to lock it for changing the blade.
If I were to carp about small issues I would say that even with the magnesium it's heavier than the usual sidewinder design. It lurches sideways slightly when you turn it on so that it's necessary to wait a moment before cutting, but I assume that's the case with all worm drives. You have to put it down on its side or it will fall over. The table portion fills up with sawdust so that you have to shake it upside down before putting it away. Possibly the magnesium table will be more easily damaged by abusive treatment.
It's compatible with the Milescraft saw guide, i.e. rip fence, but you need to get a short 6mm bolt to clamp it. Also it doesn't fit perfectly so you must make sure the bar is shifted towards the back of the saw.
All in all it's worked out great for me, and I'm completely happy.

No 7.25 inch circular saw have used match this saw. 40t carbide tip diablo blade cut thru 2in PTW like butter. Use track attachment to ensure straight cuts. Heavy saw, use on stable surface, clamping material to table. Staple power tool for shop or job sites. Vacuum n clean with grease cutter n paper towel per use.

Fantastic saw
I am a leftie, and I hated using traditional circular saws since the blade is on the "wrong" side, and the motor that sticks out, always catches on something. I had an old Hitachi that was a good saw, but I never really got used to that design. This hypoid/WormDrive design makes ripping sheets a piece of cake, it has an amazing balance and does not try to tip over on the edge cuts. The power, smoothness and balance more then make up for it weight, plus, no oil changes required.
