Q:Why are all the reviews on the blower when this is clearly a VACUUM??? I see this on multiple other items as well on your website. Either the model is wrong or it is a completely different product. Is this a management or computer issue? I'd expect better

Jambs and Broken Piece
Have to agree with other reviewers. I am a general Contractor and have many Makita tools that have been great, but this pin Nailer isn't one of them. Constantly jambs and i found that the metal on the tip had broken. I don't want to buy a different brand because O already have all the batteries etc., but I had great success using a friends Milwaukee without a single jamb. I really wanted this one to work.

Does not drive nails
Did not drive nails. Shot blanks into wood. Just doesn't work. I'm bummed because I only use makita. Now I don't have a cordless nailer. Going to return it now.

Great Batteries that Last a Long Time
I am impressed with how long these 5ah batteries last. If you only have these two you will be able to charge one full before the other ones needs charging.

Sticking to the compressor.....
As a fan of Makita, 18v lxt drill, compact and the multi tool are all too perfect I had high hopes for the 23ga pin nailer. Brand new tool, full 5 amp battery and 1/10 pins sink in far enough for putty. Even with the depth gauge maxed out!!!! I tried 1 3/16" pins as well as 7/8" pins in mdf, plywood, 2x4 and hardwood and im not impressed. I will be returning this pin nailer tomorrow for something else. guess its time to bring back that compressor i wanted to keep in storage.

Works really well. It has power and is accurate right where you put the point is where the nail goes. The rapid nail setting work just like a pneumatic nailer no delay. Is a little loud and heavy over I would buy it again if I had too. Well worth it.
Another great Makita cordless tool. It works great I have used to repair my wooden gate.

Hope the new BL1830B last 5 years like old BL1830
Purchased a brushless XRJ07ZB reciprocating saw.
Purchased BL1830B-2, 2 pack of 3.0 amp hour batteries for $99 before tax.
My 5 year old batteries still work.
New batteries fit older LXT cordless ☆ tools. Similar numbers. New battery has indicator LED

Excellent
I have medium to large hands and the Makitas work well. The HD Brand is way too heavy and big for me. Makitas always fit best and are light and powerful. Very enough for what I need. My average drill/impact lasts me at least 8 years. We don't use it TOO often as we only manage rentals but don't do all the construction as a full time contractor would. Our contractor uses Makita as well and swears by them. The batteries last longer than most brands in my experience.

This makita 18V subcompact set is a great lightweight cordless set that anybody can use. Comes with a drill, driver, flashlight, 6-1/2" circular saw, two batteries, a charger, and a soft canvas bag to fit it all in. The drill and driver are very powerful for their size and easy to hold, the circular saw is also lightweight, has good depth and bevel adjustment, and cuts powerfully and smoothly even with the included blade, and the flashlight is a decent work light for most applications. It's not super easy to fit everything into the bag all at once but I keep the saw separate.
