A:  Yes but be very careful It may be very hard to get into the corners. If you are going to do just the cabinet doors take them off and use paint remover then a very low number grit sandpaper if required on the sander

A:  Seems to me Home Depot should answer this question if they advertised the sander with a hard case and did not ship it. I do know the sell the palm sander with and without the hard case so Home Depot may have send you the wrong one.

A:  Not sure if there is a question here, but, yes, my Makita sander came with a hard case.

A:  I use belted sand paper and cut it.. The new sander I bought fell into pieces the second time I used it.
