        A:  Basically Same filters my skil pwrcore vac uses and I washed it. Like most of these you will get 1 to 3 "wash" out of them.

        A:  Yes, the package states they are washable. They may or may not survive the washing machine, depending on how strong the agitation is, but hand-washing with soap should be just fine.

            I want to get more life out of this Makita Vacuum, so I will change the filter more often. I was told that I need to change the filter after about 50 hours of use, but we will wait and see. I will use this primarily for dog hair.
