Flooring Set for VC4710 (8-Piece)

First, I do not have a Makita vacuum, but was looking for a well made reasonable accessory set to fit my 35mm hose end. Four star because the accessories did not exactly fit as advertised. Product details.....“Vacuum Attachment Kit, For Hose Diameter 1 3/8 in” (35mm) Was excited to learn that Nilfisk was the company Makita contracted to make these parts- a solid German company that specializes in quality cleaning equipment. All the attachments fit my 35mm nozzle, except the long handle piece. The handle has a plastic part that starts to fit nicely to my hose...then the metal from the handle begins and impedes the 35mm connection. So I had to buy an attachment to make this kit work when the product description... said it was for my size hose. Why did I bother to keep it? The product was above expectations in quality. Almost too nice for shop vac attachments. When I first got this kit-out of the box, handle pieces did not hold together rigorously, but after 1 use with the vacuum suction I did not experience this issue again. It is clearly water tight. Though I have not needed that function yet. Despite disappointment about product info I would recommend vac kit, especially after using other cheaper vac kits. This one seems good for shop and home, has nice weight feels solid. All the attachments fit on my unitec shop vac...fairly perfectly.

Not recommended. The wand pieces do NOT stay together, making it useless! It looks and feels good quality. But, so what if you cant use it. Maybe I and jury rig it. Contacting Makita today. Disappointed

Incompatible with the 36V Makita vacuum (that I bought from Home Depot), so both had to be returned. The promotional video shows them being compatible, but they are not. Makita PR team not in synch with the engineering team.
