Worst product I've purchased from Home Depot
Basically this product is garbage. The pre-drilled holes which do exist are misaligned. nothing is cut to proper dimensions. almost nothing is marked for assembly. The included screws are bolts, therefore making it extremely easy to damage the product with the nonexistent pre-drilled holes. save your money and buy something better.

**actually 37 inches wide** Super frustrating because I bought these bc they were the perfect width. It felt risky buying them bc of some of the reviews but other than the incorrect width, they are awesome. You need a drill though and some patience. Best price for something with a finished look.

I love it. I already had one, but wanted a second one. Waited months for it to come back in stock instead of buying a different one.

Fine print says load capacity is 10lb per shelf-- that is ridiculously low for a book case.

It was difficult to put together, but we did succeed. I might try and suggest that maybe you could ship things already put together (for a price)

Buyer beware: stay away from this looser!!!
Better be a seasoned furniture maker (I am) to assemble. And even then you'll going to have problems. Half the assembly has no predrilled holes, so get your drill and measuring tape out and hope you get it right. Attaching the back panels to the 2 long side boards requires nailing the back panels to the 1/2 inch long boards edge. And since the back panels cover the 1/2 inch board under it, it's hard to gage the center of the 1/2 inch edge of the long board. You have to nail exactly dead center of the 1/2 inch, otherwise you'll get a pushed out puff on either the outside or inside of that long board depending on which side of exact center your nail was off (and believe me it just takes an ever so minuscule of being off center to screw this up). Of the 48 nails required to do this, I was off on about 6 of these nails, by just a hair. Result: the laminate finish on the sides split open and looks terrible. And talking about looking terrible, how about the 6 black screw heads going up and down along the center of the 2 white long boards on the outside sides of the bookcase. It looks like 6 black 1/4 inch dots going all along the outside of these panels. They don’t show that in the photos so it looks nice and smooth in the photos (it ain’t!). But hey don’t worry, they give you 1 inch circle pieces of paper to stick over the black screw heads to hide them against the shinny white boards. Hint: the paper is so thin and transparent that the black screw heads still show through the paper. Because the paper looks so cheap looking, I ended up painting the black screw heads white and just left it at that. Bottom line: buyer beware, stay away from this looser. You can’t tell a book by its cover. The photo may look okay, that is, until you try to put this thing together. I probably should have returned it, but decided to just throw it in the garage as a storage shelf. I certainly wouldn’t want it in my main house!
