          I replaced the previous doors that had glass panels after my daughter decided to use our office as a bedroom. I decided to go with solid core to muffel the sound and block out the light as this room is across from the diningroom and in the morning it can be a bit noisy. So far it is working out. The doors were painted white and it looks like they've always been there.

            Good solid door. HOWEVER, when drilling for lock set I noticed these doors are filled with what looks to be compressed straw dust. It is literally straw. Even smells like straw. Couldn't they use foam or something for sound deadening?
