The GAF Master Flow Aluminum Under Eave Soffit Vent is an easy-to-install option for providing critical intake ventilation at the soffit or under-eave portion of the roof. 1-piece louvered construction includes a screen. Each vent offers a full 50 sq. in. of Net Free Ventilating Area (NFA).

          Be careful of the screen wrapping around screws when trying to install. I took a razor knife and cut the screens at the screw holes as the first one I went to install wrapped the whole screen around the screw.

          You all changed the screen material on the back and now the screen gets caught by a screw sometimes and pulls off the metal rendering it useless. Also this last batch had lot of oil iyn the metal.

            They are lightweight as expected, and fine with me. It is a thin aluminium, with a mesh behind, and box contains them with no issues and no bending. I have used steel and aluminium, and I am not going back to steel; even if 5 times heavier, I hate the rust and not worth the time to sand and re-paint, which after 5 years I still have not needed to do with these. Last box actually replacing heavy but rusted steel ones. I actually had these delivered abroad in Costa Rica, where they have proven their worth in what can be extremly humid conditions. While they could be made heavier, they are way out of reach so it isn´t needed. At this price, very fair.
