Microwave over the range Boot
I was shocked at the installation of the Microwave duct work on the original install. the duct tape was crumbling and a hand cut / bent boot was rigged to work. Not to mention years of grease buildup. This boot made installation look professional and No duct tape used aluminum tape

Plenty of room for the microwave oven vent damper to open and close. Builder used a transition for a register which didn’t allow damper to open.

The piece we needed apparently does not exist, but we were able to adapt this universal design to fit our space. So I now have a perfectly working new microwave/range hood. It has changed the efficiency of my kitchen enormously. Thank you very much.

Just what I needed. It includes a 3" extension of the rectangular element which allows for the damper on the top of a micro-hood to open and close without having to have two pieces as would be necessary otherwise.
