Q:What pipe insulation sleeve is recommended for this 3in duct?

Answer This Question

A: You could use F6DS4 or F8DS4 this 4" duct sleeve would need to be cut length wise and tightened to fit the 3" duct. You could also use INSWRP60 or INSWRP60R8 duct wrap and cut to the desired size. A: It is open. Be sure to inspect the sheet to determine if the tongue and groove will mate. Mine didn't and it took several hours of adjustments to the tongue to get the tube together. I also bought a 6" tube which went together as expected so the problem is likely due to in store damage.

A: This comes open and is fairly easy to snap together. I snapped mine in the store to make sure I could get it done.

VENT PIPE

This pipe was not very easy to assemble, however, once together, it has performed admirably. Used as a smokestack for a bar-b-que, it is performing in an excellent manner. It is high enough above the roof of the deck to keep any smoke clear of the living space. Just used a little creativity to complete this project.
