Excellent
Master Locks is the trusted name I look for when buying locks of any size. From lockers to gates, I go straight for them. These are no exception! I'm looking to chain up some equipment outside as well as locking my gate, and these locks were it!. One key for all of the locks, which is great!! The security at level 8 has my trust. And having it weather resistant gives me a peace of mind that it'll unlock when I need it to.

"MASTER" Has A Lock On Security
Unfortunately in this day and time, you can't be too careful. First, you need a good strong lock, and in my case with two gates and a shed, all locks are keyed the same. And yes quality matters and these locks are described as 50% harder than hardened steel, yet they feel light in the hand. This "Master Lock" 4 Padlock-set all keyed the same was a perfect choice. I like the 2 1/2" long by 5/16" shackle, fits perfectly for my applications. If nothing else these locks will be a visible deterrent. They are also outdoor rated, but I do give them a shot of white lithium, can't hurt. 2 keys are nice, 4 would be perfect, but if you lose them both save the "key code" from the back of the package for replacement. Master, another line of security.

that's why they call it Master!
I got this set of four locks that all use the same key so I wouldn't have to fish through a lot of keys when we go for family bike rides. They also have the large 2 1/2" shackle which makes it easy to close even when using a larger diameter cable to secure the bikes. They come with two keys so I always know where the spare is. When on vacation, I can use a long cable and one lock to secure all the bikes, and can use the others to lock my tool boxes.

Solid Padlocks
I've put up with a hodge podge of differently keyed locks on the 4 gates on my property and, after losing the key to one and having the least often opened lock rust frozen, I decided enough was enough - time for new locks that all share a key. This 4 Pack of Heavy Duty Padlocks from Master is the perfect solution. First, they're solid and look like they'd put up a good fight if some ne'er-do-well tried to saw, cut, or otherwise destroy one. The size is good and fit everyone of my gate latches, all of which are different in design. Operation with the key is smooth, and although only 2 keys are supplied with the kit, the key code is provided in case they are lost. Of course, the nice folks at HomeDepot would be happy to make copies cheaply if I can remember to bring the key with me on my next trip. These locks will greatly simplify my comings and goings and I expect they will give years of good service. Highly recommended!

Great locks
These padlocks are great and are heavey duty and will last a long time even outdoors. There made of tough cut boron carbide. 50 percent harder than steal. Which this makes it resistance to sawing and cutting. The 4-pin cylinder prevents picking and the dual ball bearing provides maximum resistance against prying and hammering. If you have ever took a hammer and screwdriver to a pad lock to pop one open for any reason you want be able to with this master lock it stays lock. This pad lock will hold up good in outdoor weather to. I have to highly recommend this lock and you want be disappointed either.

Heavy duty locks
These are some of the best locks you can buy. I have had 2 master locks on my gates for over 30 years unfortunately the keys dis not match. 1 of the master locks I got from my dad and no telling how long he had it before he gave it to me. I put these master locks right to work by replacing the 2 gate locks and my storage shed locks and now only have 1 key for all locks. The locks seem to be built heavy duty and the lock bars are square so it would be hard to cut with a l9ck cutter. I'm super happy with these locks and I know I'll have them for Another 30 years

Sturdy and secure
The Master heavy duty padlock seems ideal for my fence gate as most padlocks rust after a while and this is billed as weather resistant. Of course nothing can stop a determined thief but it will be harder to cut through with the strong steel or pick the four-cylinder pin. The 2-and-1/2 inch shackle allows the lock to be placed both horizontally and vertically and also makes it easy to lock and unlock. The set of four padlocks came with two keys as each of the four locks can be opened with one key. This may seem as an advantage if there is only one or two people who will have access. But if you give keys to bunch of different people like gardener, handyman, cat feeder etc. then you will have to get more keys cut at your own cost.

Tough well designed set of padlocks
This is a tough and well designed padlock. Especially useful is the two and a half inch long loop that can be used either for objects that have a deep hole, or for locking together a number of different objects. The laminated body and the toughened hasp are designed to resist attacks with a bolt cutter or a hacksaw and thwart any but a well prepared intruder.

Great Locks with good length
For those interested in country of origin, these locks were assembled in Mexico of US and global components.
Was looking for lockset with types of lock tongues that would fit under door lids and into tight spaces. These fit the requirements quite nicely.
Tongues are long enough to be able to maneuver under plastic door shed panels, and fit quite well in the larger shed type structures.
Have 4 locks with only one key to lose, but there is a code supplied with the package to identify and replace lost/stolen keys.
