Worked fine for my application, which was mounting a camera on the roof of a vehicle. I used four of them and the mount doesn't budge even at highway speeds. It still needs a safety strap, but it's really more for show than anything else. The mount doesn't move a bit.

Simple blind install
Purchased 4 magnets to mount two cordless blinds to steel French doors. Used 1/2 in bolts to secure mounting bracket to magnet and holds the 2 lb blinds securely with no sliding. Took less than 10 minutes to finish.

Strong Magnet
This magnet serves as a catch for a deck gate. The design of the fence means I cannot use a regular gate catch. The magnet has sufficient force to keep the gate open yet it takes little effort to close the gate. See photos for full explanation.

Great product with plenty of holding power.....perfect for my application!
These magnets were perfect for my application.....used to hold oilfield equipment in place where other means are impractical / inconvenient and will fall apart in a short period of time. These magnets arrived early and were shipped directly to the store to eliminate shipping cost. After researching these on the web, Home Depot was the obvious choice with price, availability and shipping options to choose from. Thanks again for helping me out once more....

dimensions given in description are incorrect
I needed two magnets of about 4 inches in diameter. This set of two seemed to fit that requirement. What I received today were about 4cm and far too small for my purposes. Now, I must make a time consuming trip to return and still must find what I need. I don't feel like I can trust this site.
