How do you get the trigger lock to work?

I bought 2 of these nozzles , for the front and one for the pool area . I have a no kink Heavy Duty hose , and the Melnor easy grip nozzle , can not support the water pressure , very irritating . And now I threw away the packaging. I was sure it fit

I am having difficulty with the trigger lock. I don’t know how to keep it on lock. Please let me know.
I am having the same problem, it will not come back far enough to lock. Also the handle cracked at the pivot pin after only two weeks. I tried to glue it but it didn't work.

Is this nozzle compatible with Copper Head pocket hose?
