Don't buy, unless you want to pay for the upkeep.
These lights are pretty and easy to install, but are battery operated. They require 3 double A batteries to operate, which is about $2-$4 depending on the brand. However, these batteries only last about 5-8 hours of "on" time, which for me, if I keep them on for 2 hours each night a week, gets insanely expensive insanely quickly. In addition, as the battery drains, the lights become dimmer, meaning that after about 3 hours they're barely visible. They are very pretty, but a battery pack was a horrible design choice. Save your money and buy a light bar instead.

My young daughter loves these lights. We strung these up along the canopy of her bed and will be adding sheer curtains to complete the fairy/princess effect. The two toned purple and blue transition from the base to the tip of each strand is a unique effect and really adds to the visual depth above a single color. My main "negatives" are the lack of a timer function on the battery pack and no option for a twinkle or starry night flashing of the lights.

My girlfriend had all kinds of ideas for these lights. They are nice mellow lights for setting a relaxing feeling. She hung them in the back window of our camper and they not only look good outside but set a great mood inside. I would recommend them for windows or or in the bathroom or just on the wall with a tapestry background. The lights are battery operated so you don't need a power source. You will need t have some AA bateries to make them work.

These curtain lights look great and provide a nice lighting effect. The battery (three double A) operated warm white mini lights have six rows of approx. 16 lights each. Each row or string is five feet long. Overall width between the first and last string is 3.5 feet. Easy to install anywhere as they are battery operated and generate no heat. They provide a unique look to doorways, bed frames, and window. These lights offer many decorating opportunities.

Battery powered is not economical nor functional. As it can not be connected to an extension cord and the string needs to be hung from or near a ceiling, I am not interested in reaching for a control box to turn lights on / off and or replacing batteries.
The control box is extremely hard to remove cover, nearly coming close to breaking the cover to make it let go of box.
Fairy lights, not so much in my opinion however, they will do the trick IF you're not *incredibly* picky to detail such as myself.
Light not quite a "warm" color, more so a soft yellow-gold.
Easily hung with a staple gun or wrapped around "something".
Lights do not tangle easily.
