This is a great planter. We put low flow sprinkler lines through the holes in the bottom, and it's working great.

Heavy and aesthetically pleasing

I love this metal planter. It is very heavy and stable. It would be an excellent divider of space. I use it as a small wall that hides what's behind near my house (the intention is to hide delivered packages). It is aesthetically pleasing. Has drainage holes, but I would not recommend puring soil inside. It is a holder for smaller pots that can stand inside on a shelf. I used 4 square pots that hang there on the rims.

Great Large Planter!

We are currently redoing our house to a contemporary style and this planter is perfect. It is sleek and large. We have it at our entrance and have already received compliments on it! This planter is approved to use all seasons. There is a drainage hole allowing for easy excess water drainage. It comes out together and it is scratch resistant. I would recommend this large metal planter for either indoor or outdoor use!

Modern decor planter.

This planter is very well made with a black powder coated finish. It is quite heavy so best to have two people move it but can be done with one person. The top edge is accented in copper. The interior depth is 12" so you don't need to fill with whole planter in planting material. You could easily put individual planters inside the planter too. There is a drainage hole that can be plugged. This planter is a great size to use as a room divider or edge of a patio which is I plan for it. Very well made.

The EDYO LIVING Long Box Metal Rectangular Planter is a large, modern styled planter perfect for filling in space against an empty wall or even providing a decorative barrier. It stands 30" tall and has a convenient inner shelf so you don't need to fill the entire height of the planter box with soil and rocks (this also helps keep the planter weight down). From the top surface of the planter box to the shelf is about 13", so you still have plenty of space to plant something with a decent sized root system. Keep in mind that the planter is narrow, with about a 7.5" wide opening, so smaller sized plants are likely the way to go. The inner shelf and very bottom of the planter have drainage holes so you don't risk over watering your plants and ending up with root rot. These holes can also be used to discreetly run an irrigation line into the planter for a more refined look as well. The drainage holes in the bottom of the planter come with rubber caps in case you don't want soil or water spilling out of the bottom. The bottom has rubber feet so scratching floors shouldn't be a concern. Due to its size and robust build, it is relatively heavy, so a 2-person lift is advised. The planter has a mottled, dimpled color design which gives it a nice texture and makes it more visually appealing. I have not had the chance to plant anything in it yet since it is still much too warm, but I will try to plant hardy snake plants when planting season arrives. This should provide a nice tall natural barrier to fill my tall front patio space. You could even plant herbs if you want a more functional planter that still brings a pleasant aesthetic. The only reason I took a star off is that some of the inner edges and corners were sharp and difficult to grip, but that is a minor gripe. This should make an attractive, modern planter for any property.

Really nice metal planter box!

I was surprised at the quality of this EDYO LIVING Long Box Metal Rectangular Planter Box (in black)! It was a bit larger than I expected but fits just great in my backyard space. The metal surface is very nice and this should hold up to all weather conditions. Its about 30" tall, 38" long and 9.8" wide. It has drain holes (as seen in one of my pictures) so the plants should thrive! I plan on putting Iris's in mine.

SEAMLESS PLANTER BOX

The seamless EDYO LIVING Long Box Metal Rectangular Planter in Black with hand brushed copper patina finished edges is a work of art. The planter is powdered coated with thickened galvanized steel. The overall black metallic textured finish is consistent and just looks good. I like the design of the shelf being 13" down from the top of the planter. There are weep holes to allow proper drainage with rubber plugs that can be removed. Pick your spot fill with a layer of rocks (helps with drainage), dirt and your favorite plants. We plan to install snake plants which are native to Africa but do well in our region. NOTE: They call the bedroom a superb location for the Snake plant, thanks to its storage of oxygen during the day and release at night.

ATTRACTIVE DIVIDER

There are many different purposes for this type of planter as it makes a great room divider, patio addition, barricade, and more. I decided to use it to "screen" off the end of the dining area on our patio and I'm especially happy with the metal finish as it matches our bronze aluminum patio table and chairs. The planter has a black powder coated finish and the edges have a copper patina giving it a stylish appeal. There is a shelf halfway down inside the planter and while it can't be removed completely (as you can't get it past the lip at the top of the planter box), it can be lowered to the bottom of the planter because there are gaps in each corner of the bracket that holds the shelf in place. Note there's only one position for the shelf. I especially like that there are two holes in the shelf, firstly it's great for drainage, but more than that it allows you to grip the shelf to move it. In the bottom of the planter itself, there are three drainage holes with removal rubber plugs. The bottom of the planter has rubber strips so it won't scrape the tile or floor or wherever you place it. I love the modern, contemporary design of this planter, and as it weighs over 60 lbs. there's no way it could ever blow over from the wind, and I'm sure it's going to withstand the elements without deterioration for a very long time.

Sleek, modern goes well both inside and out!

I have a spot in my entry way that begs for a modern large planter. My front door is black, so this works perfectly. There are several cool features about this planter. First it has a removable shelf so you can put in shorter plants but still have them show above the rim. If you have super tall plants, you can remove the shelf. The planter has removal plugs – you just need a screw driver. One thing to note is the planter is black but does have a slight burnished gold on the edges (see picture). I love it – it gives it a very high end look. The planter comes fully assembled and it is pretty heavy at 65lbs, so you may need someone to help move it to where you want it located. This planter is designed to go outside, but it is so nice that I am glad I got it for my entryway. Highly recommend!
