Can I use two of these on one opener? One on the entry side and one on the exit side. Our gate is used to divide our property not to keep people out.

Can I use this in place of the original sensor probe included with the driveway alert?

I need to get the wireless transmitter closer to the reciever in the house. The original driveway alert probe only has about 10 feet of wire or so which keeps the transmitter outside of its range to the reciever.
Asked by: Ron
These are designed to trigger gates to open when vehicles approach primarily when exiting. As to whether it will work for a driveway alert really depends on the circuitry that you would be wiring it to. I would call the manufacturer of the driveway alert to see what kind of sensor will work as this would be an expensive experiment.
