Product Details

The Mighty Mule MM-SL2000B-S Electric Gate Opener is a slide gate opener that is ideal for heavy duty commercial or residential single slide gates. As a Home Depot Exclusive the Bonus Package offers an additional Single Button Remote (FM135) and a Weatherproof LED Wireless Keypad (MMKPD). The operator is designed for gates weighing up to 1000 lbs. and up to 30 ft. in length that allows for a 20 ft. opening. For dual panel applications, the Mighty Mule Dual Slide Operator (MM-SL2200B) is required. This slide gate opener features a Internal Friction Brake Lock that locks the gate in the closed position for added safety and security. Also features an adjustable obstruction sensor, gate sequencing and auto close settings. The operator can be programmed for left to right or right to left opening.

Package includes 1 additional single button remote (FM135) and a weatherproof LED wireless keypad (MMKPD), also included, the standard MM-SL2000B kit contents: includes 1 battery (FM150, 1 AC transformer (RB750), 1 radio receiver and all hardware for installation)
Ideal for single slide gate panels that weigh up to 1,000 lbs. and are 30 ft. long that allows for a 20 ft. opening and opening time is 1 ft. per second and has a high cycle capability
MM-SL2000B's feature an adjustable obstruction sensor, gate sequencing and auto close settings
For commercial and residential slide gate applications that are UL rated for class I, II, and III with a compact design
Rated for over 50 cycles per day
Powered by a 12-Volt DC motor and is solar compatible
Provides connections for safety loops, vehicle exit wands, intercoms, card readers and phone systems

A: No, low voltage wire is not included. It is available online at Home Depot.com, the part number is RB509-100 (100 ft.) or you can get it in 250 ft (RB509-250) and 500 ft. (RB509-500) increments.

This bonus package was delivered as promised with all of the promised items included. Additional items that most people will need include a mounting post for the key-pad, twin photo beams Mighty Mule R4222 safety photo eye to prevent the gate from closing if obstructed, a vehicle sensor for automatic exits and additional remote control transmitters if more than one person needs to operate the gate remotely. Some owners may wish to install an intercom outside the gate.

After we installed the gate we enjoyed the freedom of the security it gave us. Three weeks after the install the transformer went out. We haven’t had a chance to purchase a new one. Home Depot doesn’t stock it.

The unit is ok but MM and HomeDepot do not...

The unit is ok but MM and HomeDepot do not do a good job of keeping the sister device (for two gates) available. the MM-SL2000b is available all over the country but the slave one MM-SL2200b is darn near impossible to get!

Product is good, had issues with Home Depot installer which were resolved.

When you buy this item, down load the installation manual & make sure the installers do it by the book. NO WHEELS on the gate. You have no security if they use wheels. The gate can be lifted up and pushed aside to enter your property. Follow the directions and it s secure! Installer used wheels and I protested as the installers manual says not to use wheels and would void the warranty as improperly installed. They replaced the gate with the correct one and now it is secure.
