Product Details

The Mighty Mule MM-SL2000B electric Gate Opener is a slide gate opener that is ideal for heavy duty commercial or residential single slide gates. The operator is designed for gates weighing up to 1000 lbs. and up to 30 ft. in length that allows for a 20 ft. opening. For dual panel applications, the Mighty Mule Dual Slide Operator (MM-SL2200B) is required. Included is a standard safety feature; Internal Friction Brake Lock that locks the gate in the closed position for added safety and security. Also includes an adjustable obstruction sensor, gate sequencing and auto close settings. The operator can be programmed for left to right or right to left opening.
  • Includes a battery (FM150), single button remote (FM135), AC transformer (RB750), radio receiver and all hardware for installation
  • Ideal for single slide gate panels that weigh up to 1,000 lbs. and are 30 ft. long that allows for a 20 ft. opening and opening time is 1 ft. per second and has a high cycle capability
  • The SL2000B's includes an adjustable obstruction sensor, gate sequencing and auto close settings
  • For commercial and residential slide gate applications that are UL rated for Class I, II, III with a compact design
  • Rated for over 50 cycles per day
  • Powered by a 12-Volt DC motor and is solar compatible

        A:  No, we don't offer a keypad for indoor use with an extended range. if your gate is close to your house, you could possibly use the transmitter to open your gate it will work 50 to 100 ft. Depending on how far away your house is you can possibly wire (trench) a push button from the gate to your house.

          Warranty issue Slide Gate Opener
          Warranty would not allow control board to be returned with out multimeter diagnostic visual viewed thru skype setup. I wanted to just send the control board to have the company check it. If I was willing to pay to send it back, why not accept the part for evaluation; unless, they would be inundated with people returning control boards. Before calling the company, have skype setup and a working multimeter in hand. Pretty simple. Or buy a new board for about $330 and see if that fixes it.

            Seems to be a good opener so far. The issues I have with it is that it appears the slow start / stop doesn't function well. It jerks the gate and thus appears to be stretching the chain. The other issue is the fact they ship it with 1 controller. 2 controllers should be included with the opener.

            Pretty much believe this is my first ever super negative...
            Pretty much believe this is my first ever super negative rating for any product or service.The vendor's help line(s) = technical support not really knowledgeable or helpful. Same is true for customer support.The manual(s) with this device MM-SL2000B is way behind the product.
