Thrilled with this newest model
I got this as a replacement for an earlier model that was over 15 years old. I got the bundle because I am looking to the future when I might use all the accessories it comes with, but I'm not using them all just yet. Plus the bundle price was very attractive. The gate opener itself has some improvements over my older model. First it operates much faster, second all the wiring goes to the control box which is much easier than on the older unit for several reasons, not the least of which you have a lot more room to work during installation. Then it has a soft close feature, doesn't slam closed anymore. It also has an alarm that sounds when operating. The newer 3-buttom remotes are much easier to program, and are self learning without messing with any DIP switches. The operator itself fit exactly like the older unit did, no modifications to the gate or mounting hardware was required. Setting of all the features is really easy, but a caution - they MUST be performed in the order given, else the unit won't respond. If this is your first Mighty Mule be assured that while there is a bit of work involved in installation, non of it is particularly difficult, just takes some time, and a good installation will give you years of trouble free operation - well except for replacing the battery it uses (not included), but it even tells you when the battery is low. I have been using relatively cheap automotive batteries, and each on has lasted well past the batteries warranty - about 7-8 years. I was very happy with my old unit, and am thrilled with this newer one.

It's an easy install for you DIY folks, just read the directions thoroughly before starting, and make sure your gate post is a minimum of or equal to a 6x6.

Too much to pay with so little included
I'm not happy with the cost. it's not worth it for the few added items. I'll be purchasing from another source.

Dear Ed Mathers209, There maybe some confusion on your calculations. Let me break this down for you. The kit includes operator MM371W retails $375.79, 2-MMT103 transmitter equals $64.00, one MMK200 keypad at $44.87 and a vehicle sensor wand FM140 at $141.39. This totals to $625.66 if you purchase the kit it retails at $610.42 a savings of $15.24. Retails do change periodically, however, we do discount as an incentive to purchase the kits. It works great. It was easy to install. The directions were easy to follow. I would have given it five stars, but the range on the remotes isn’t very good, and seems to be getting worse even after replacing the batteries. It still beats having to get out of my truck when it’s raining to open and close the gate. Overall I’m very happy with it
