We are using this for breaking geodes. Our son is becoming a rock hound and has found some of the more solid rocks to difficult to break with just a hammer (or smashing with a sock). So, short of a tile saw, we thought we would give this heavy chisel a try. The very first rock was proof that this was a great choice - it was nearly solid. Even with the chisel it took some work but it worked! The second one broke beautifully with this!! Very pleased this is working so well for us!

Often in my business, deconstructing concrete is a complete necessity. Recently in a parking lot deconstruction it was necessary to demolish some light pole pads as well as break up other concrete debris to allow for more compacted hauling. The Milwaukee 1-1/8 x 16 steel hex chisel was the tool of choice on this job. Blasting through the mentioned debris with the jack hammer, this chisel worked like a champ, blasting through tons of concrete and holding it's edge better than most of brands. With some tools, price is the last consideration. When I can get the job done quickly and have my tools come through without needing maintenance, that's the tool I want.

I used this for busting out flanges and going through the foundation to make service line repairs. I have to say it gets the job done
