        Perfect for pulling staples
I had to take up old carpet and tack strips and padding. This bar was great at prying up the tack strips and was small enough to get tight to the baseboard to pull out the nails that remained. When I was pulling up the stapled down padding at first I was using a screwdriver to pry them up, then a linesman pliers to pull out the staple. I looked at the small tip of the Milwaukee and low and behold it's small enough to fit between the two legs of the staple so I could easily just pop them out.

The Milwaukee 10 in. Molding Puller Pry Bar is a great addition to any carpenter or Do It Yourselfer! The flat end is great for slipping between to pieces of wood. I used it the other day to separate a pallet. The durable end can be tapped with a hammer to assist with getting between drywall and molding. The ends both have notches to assist with pulling nails. The only downfall is it's a little heavier than I would like, but that's because it is made of strong metal.

I have several pry bars, but the thin ones I have and was using for moulding were not strong enough. I would get the moulding off, but I just had to work harder than I liked to and moving the pry bars over and over. I like milwaukee products and felt like this pry bar would be good with the nice rubber handle and it seems to be well built. The large head has a nice thin bevel to fit behind the moulding and provides a good amount of leverage. I like the wide head because that spread the pressure and allowed me to pry larger moulding much more easily. The cats paw portion on the opposite side is sharp enough to use for pulling nails, but not great in moulding so I won't typically use it as I have a different cats paw/pry bar I prefer.

The first thing that stands out about the Milwaukee 10 inch molding puller is the vibration reducing grip which is my favorite feature. The second is the dimpler, it allows me to create a recess around the nail head making it easier to get the claws underneath the nail head in an effort to reduce the amount of wood chipping. The dimpler is a nice feature to have if you are trying to reuse or reduce the amount of damage.

Since I have no nails to remove, I put a few nails into a piece of wood. I used different size nail heads. This tool is better than a hammer but I like their 12 in puller better, which I also own. If you own the 12 inch puller, there is no need to purchase this one. For those that want this size, I still recommend it. This tool has more features than a hammer with a puller on it. And you can maneuver this better than a hammer.

          Best of both worlds
I was looking for a nail puller that could do everything. This is the perfect blend for finish work and light framing. The back of the head takes a nice beating. Strongly recommend this product for anyone who is looking for just one nail puller to do most everything. Very happy with Milwaukee here. Make sure you check the teeth to ensure they are mostly aligned, as I had to return one due to an asymmetry.
