Cheaper Alternatives
I live in Upstate NY and heat with wood. I have a dozen Chainsaws, but none by Milwaukee. Most are Gas, but I do have a few battery powered ones; which for quick jobs, or up in trees, work great. This 8", narrow kerf Chain, is for the new Milwaukee 8" HATCHET Pruning Saw (321506905) [which looks awesome!]. The mating Bar is the Milwaukee 8" (322550022). The chain's Specs are 8", .043, 3/8, 33; which are the same as the Powercare Y33 (100674931) and the Oregon R33 (318457978). The chain fits many of the 8" Polesaws on the Market. If you have the HATCHET, or giving one as a gift, you might want to stick with the Milwaukee Chain, but for someone like me, who goes through a lot of chains, I find Oregon makes a great chain (they might have made this one?), at a much cheaper price. The packaging states, "Made In USA" (see pic).

Used as intended ... it can't be beat.
This 8" (Milwaukee brand) cutting chain is the replacement for the M18 FUEL 8 in. Hatchet (Milwaukee's Pruning saw). Used to prune small branches, it just can't be beat. The chain is as tough as the larger, log-cutting chains and works wonders on 4" diameter (and under) branches. I've used the Milwaukee Hatchet on larger logs too (up to 8"), and while it takes some time and effort, the chain will cut through the wood. The battery will give up long before the chain ...BUT, do keep chain oil in the Hatchet's reservoir! I've owned and heavily used the Hatchet for almost two years and am still on my first chain. Got this one as a backup.

Excellent tool
I recently received the Milwaukee - Milwaukee 8 in. Pruning Saw Chain with 33-Drive Links. I have used this saw for many little jobs, to have the replacement chain handy is great. These chains last a long time as a home owner doing odds and ends trimming of trees and cutting down small tress it nice having a back-up. The chain is made with good quality material and holds a edge well. I differently would recommend this saw and extra chain to anyone.

Fast Cutting Chain
This is the 5th weekend I've gone out with teams of volunteers removing felled trees after Hurricane Ian. My new Milwaukee M18 FUEL HATCHET 8" Pruning Saw has seen heavy use. My previous short bar saw was an object of ridicule. That all stopped with the M18 FUEL HATCHET. It immediately gained respect when I quickly chewed through some rather thick branches on a 50' downed tree. This last weekend I had two buddies ask me how they could get one. It has proven invaluable in situations where a long bar gas chainsaw is too unwieldy and heavy to be safe.
I was grateful to receive this OEM replacement chain Milwaukee #49-16-2750 custom designed for the M18 FUEL HATCHET. It cuts smoothly and has the right balance between aggressive cutting and anti-kickback. The M18 FUEL HATCHET with this designed-for chain cuts several times faster than my other short bar chainsaw. Perhaps it is the narrow kerf design. I have not needed to change out my chain yet as I've sharpened it on occasion when waiting for the next FEMA work order. My buddies carry spare chains so that they can swap out a chain while at a job without having to stop too long. Now I have a spare. Awesome tool! 5 Stars.

Fast-Efficient-Quiet Chain Operation!

Oregon brand chain!
Being an arborist I have strong opinions about chainsaw chains. These Milwaukee chains are made by Oregon, the same company I buy from for all of my work saws. I threw a new chain on my Milwaukee electric saw and cut up a medium sized oak that fell in the back of the property and a large butterfly bush that was trying to eat one of my cars. I had no issues with either one but I thought the chips were a bit small. I gave the chain a few swipes with a file and I started getting finer shavings and a cleaner face cut. I was originally thinking I would have to get chains at my local saw shop but the Milwaukee branded ones are what I would get anyway.

Works on other 14" saws, only the gauge is different
Though this is specifically for a Milwaukee electric chain saw it is functionally the same as what came on my 14" Echo gas saw with one exception. Both are 52 links of Oregon 3/8" low profile saw chain but this chain has a drive link thickness of .047 compared to the standard .050 gauge thickness. Despite my 40+ years of experience with saw chain I don't know why a 3/1000" difference in thickness is of any consequence. A little wear in the bar groove is more than that. Anyway, it works great, even in my .050 bar.

When you are cutting a log if you notice that your chainsaw is not producing big fluffy wood chips and is producing cuttings that look more like saw dust it is time to replace your chain or sharpen your existing chain. Chainsaw chain sharpening is an art and takes practice. If you don’t have time to read up and learn this skill your new Milwaukee 14-inch Chainsaw chain will solve this problem. Below I have included a brief discussion on how to put on a new chainsaw chain. If you are good with mechanical things it is not to hard. Also see your manual for complete instruction.
Your Milwaukee chainsaw has a wrench stored in the handle which is all you’ll need to replace your chain. First thing to do is to "remove" the battery. Next remove the chain guard retaining nuts. It will help also if you loosen the chain tensioning screw about a quarter turn (counter clockwise). Remove the chain and chain bar guide and lay it flat on a board (be careful to note orientation of the chain and chain bar). Place your new chain flat on the same board and check and make sure sharp edge of the teeth on the new chain are facing the same direction as the chain originally installed on the chainsaw bar. Carefully remove the old chain and place the new chain on the chain bar and reassemble. The new chain will stretch so be sure to tighten the chain tensioning screw after 30 minutes or so of use. For more details for this process please reference the manual.
A new chain for your chainsaw will make cutting a log fun again, especially if your current chain is dull. I would recommend the Milwaukee chain as the best replacement. Be sure to use chain oil to lubricate you chain and it will last a long time.

Good looking quality chain
Comes with a detailed set of instructions showing how to mount it on your saw as well as good adjustment and sharpening information.
Each link is stamped Oregon so it appears to be made by Oregon. A 90 stamp also identified this as a low profile ⅜” chain.
Make sure you also cross reference the size of the guide bar in your 2727-20 M18 chainsaw. Mine has a 16” guide bar not a 14” bar and this chain is for the 14” version so I was not able to actually test the chain. My mistake. The package is clearly marked 14”.
