Oregon brand chain!
Being an arborist I have strong opinions about chainsaw chains. These Milwaukee chains are made by Oregon, the same company I buy from for all of my work saws. I threw a new chain on my Milwaukee electric saw and cut up a medium sized oak that fell in the back of the property and a large butterfly bush that was trying to eat one of my cars. I had no issues with either one but I thought the chips were a bit small. I gave the chain a few swipes with a file and I started getting finer shavings and a cleaner face cut. I was originally thinking I would have to get chains at my local saw shop but the Milwaukee branded ones are what I would get anyway.

Works on other 14" saws, only the gauge is different
Though this is specifically for a Milwaukee electric chain saw it is functionally the same as what came on my 14" Echo gas saw with one exception. Both are 52 links of Oregon 3/8" low profile saw chain but this chain has a drive link thickness of .047 compared to the standard .050 gauge thickness. Despite my 40+ years of experience with saw chain I don't know why a 3/1000" difference in thickness is of any consequence. A little wear in the bar groove is more than that. Anyway, it works great, even in my .050 bar.

Heavy duty chain
This Milwaukee chain saw blade is well made and very sharp! It has 52 drive links, and each link has a sharp tooth on it. This chain is for a 14-inch chainsaw. It has a low kick back when used. It came well oiled. It is designed to be used with narrow kerf bars. It has a low-profile pitch which is 3/8 inches. It is designed to fit a Milwaukee M18 fuel 14-inch chainsaw.

Having a replacement chain for your Milwaukee 14-inch Chainsaw Chain will keep you working when hit that stray rock or nail in your log.
Having a replacement chain for your Milwaukee 14-inch Chainsaw Chain will keep you working when hit that stray rock or nail in your log. When you are cutting a log if you notice that your chainsaw is not producing big fluffy wood chips and is producing cuttings that look more like saw dust it is time to replace your chain or sharpen your existing chain. Chainsaw chain sharpening is an art and takes practice. If you don’t have time to read up and learn this skill your new Milwaukee 14-inch Chainsaw chain will solve this problem. Below I have included a brief discussion on how to put on a new chainsaw chain. If you are good with mechanical things it is not to hard. Also see your manual for complete instruction. Your Milwaukee chainsaw has a wrench stored in the handle which is all you’ll need to replace your chain. First thing to do is to "remove" the battery. Next remove the chain guard retaining nuts. It will help also if you loosen the chain tensioning screw about a quarter turn (counter clockwise). Remove the chain and chain bar guide and lay it flat on a board (be careful to note orientation of the chain and chain bar). Place your new chain flat on the same board and check and make sure sharp edge of the teeth on the new chain are facing the same direction as the chain originally installed on the chainsaw bar. Carefully remove the old chain and place the new chain on the chain bar and reassemble. The new chain will stretch so be sure to tighten the chain tensioning screw after 30 minutes or so of use. For more details for this process please reference the manual. A new chain for your chainsaw will make cutting a log fun again, especially if your current chain is dull. I would recommend the Milwaukee chain as the best replacement. Be sure to use chain oil to lubricate you chain and it will last a long time.

Good looking quality chain
Comes with a detailed set of instructions showing how to mount it on your saw as well as good adjustment and sharpening information. Each link is stamped Oregon so it appears to be made by Oregon. A 90 stamp also identified this as a low profile ⅜” chain. Make sure you also cross reference the size of the guide bar in your 2727-20 M18 chainsaw. Mine has a 16” guide bar not a 14” bar and this chain is for the 14” version so I was not able to actually test the chain. My mistake. The package is clearly marked 14”.

Milwaukee 14 in. Chainsaw Chain with 52 Drive Links
The Milwaukee 14 in. Chainsaw Chain with 52 Drive Links arrived yesterday and shortly after it took less than five minutes to installed it on my 14 in. guide bar. I cut a piece of pressure treated wood and then a log for firewood and both cuts were very good. The 52 links are very sharp and I will be able to cut all the firewood I need with this chain. This chain definitely met my expectations.

very sharp, easy to install, perfect cut...
I have a corded Homelite chainsaw that I have thoroughly abused doing extensive landscaping around my house (pulling out hedges, stumps, taking down fences, etc). My chain was shot and needed to be replaced. So happens my existing chain has the same parameters as this Milwaukee chain (14 inch, 52 drive links, 3/8 pitch, etc). I replaced my chain with this one from Milwaukee. I tested it on a piece of 2x4 and it cut through it like butter. This chain is sharp and works well. It's a big improvement over my original chain. I can only imagine how easily this chain will tackle the big jobs on a gas powered high-end chainsaw. Now that I have a fully functioning chainsaw again, I'll clean it up and only use it as a traditional chainsaw and not abuse the new chain.

I just got the MILWAUKEE 6 IN. PRUNING SAW CHAIN WITH 28 DRIVE LINKS, and I do believe that it’s one of the many extremely high quality products that the Milwaukee brand tool company puts out and produce’s. I have tried several different brands of chains for my small pruning chainsaws, but this one is truly a very well designed and made product. I’ve been using different kinds and brands of chainsaws in my endeavors to get the jobs done in the most eye catching ways because I believe that the highest quality is truly the only way to do any job , don’t you? And I truly love the fact that they put in the usage and safety paperwork, how to use it and how not to use it. Ya just gotta love a company that puts in its packaging ways to idiot proof that product. I think that it’s a wonderful piece of equipment. Get yourself one you’ll love it, bye y’all.

The Milwaukee 6 inch pruning chainsaw chain is a replacement chain for the Milwaukee 6 inch M12 FUEL 12-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless HATCHET Pruning Saw. It is easy to replace and the original chin is still working and cutting well. I obtained this one as a replacement so I don't have any down time when it comes time to replace. The chain itself is much smaller size being only .043 gauge. I have used many different Milwaukee products and they are my go to brand because of their quality.
