will the canister vac fit in the 15" bag

Answer

You might have trouble getting accessories to fit as well... however you will have an easier time with the 20 inch tote, as I have a 7 1/4 circ saw, super sawzall, and regular sawzall plus a bunch of recip saw blades and a normal 12/18V charger with about 4 to 5 5.0Ah batteries and still have room for more!!

Easily. I have two Sawzalls, a 7 1/4 circ saw, M18 Hackzall, recip saw blades, normal charger and like 5 of the 5.0Ah batteries. This is an awesome, durable and spacious tool tote.

I think they are talking about the packout system as far as the daisy chain. I don't see any other way you could attach anything to this bag. As far as your off-road pack question: this bag is big and when it is full it's heavy. The shoulder strap is very heavy duty, but if you add the cooler and the small parts organizer you're going to be tripping on the stack. I'm 6'1" and it hangs almost to my knees tho I do have the strap quite long so i can carry it on shoulder or over head on other shoulder depending what I'm doing. You could add the small parts organizer and carry the cooler with your other hand or same side hand, but all 3 on one side stacked on top of each other would be too much in my opinion.

will a M18 Sawzall fit inside this bag?

Yes. With the blade unattached, of course

20" vs 15" packout bag. Which do you like and why?

Asked by Sammy November 27, 2020

Answers

For me, the 20" would be too big. I already had a 15" storage box that I got with my drill/driver set, and I got another one for other tools so the 15" was the obvious choice for me. If you go bigger and add any boxes underneath, I think you'll want the cart.

Can I use this for a circular saw?

Yes! I use this to tote my cordless Milwaukee circular saw and spare blades. Although you should make a protector for the blades.

This bag is almost the perfect size, the gray handles should have some type of strapping to join them together it's a pain in the butt to put the bag down and then pick it back up with these straps falling off to each side of the bag.. The size is little small needed it to be 2 inches longer. So for bang for the buck; I think it's over priced by 20.

Superb for carrying my tools from the garage to my next project. I can put most of what I need for the job and only make one trip. I tend to leave my tools in the bag for the next job too. Has nice shoulder carry strap and zips closed easily. Material is a tough canvas type that lasts tons of abuse that I give it. This bag is like a wide mouth whale, it opens so you can see the entire inside of the bag, no guessing whats inside, you just look in!

The Milwaukee 20 in. packout tool bag is a very nice product. It is well made and is large enough to carry various tools for my DIY projects. Most recently I used the tool bag for my tools to build board and batten shutters for our home. The bag had plenty of room for my Milwaukee Drill, drill bits, cement screws and anchors to attach the shutters on our home. I am very pleased with the bag and it definitely met my expectations.

A good carry bag. BACKGROUND: I have several tool bags but want to move into the Milwaukee PACKOUT system. This bag is the first step. FIT AND FINISH: The bag is heavy duty 1680 denier fabric with solid stitching. It has two small loop handles and a shoulder strap. OPERATION: As a packout bag, not a tool tote, the bags main purpose is to load up with tools and supplies that will be broken out on the job site. I was able to load up everything for a trim job except the compressor. The handles offer a good grip, but the shoulder strap was a little thin for carrying a heavy load for very long. Hooked onto the PACKOUT rolling tool box the shoulder strap is not an issue. SUMMARY: A good packout bag that is part of an equally good tool system.

The Milwaukee PACKOUT Bag is top quality just like their tools. I really like the interlocking PACKOUT system and this bag will clip into the top of your PACKOUT stack. The bag folds flat for storage but when opened is nice and deep and has plenty of space to hold numerous tools, batteries, chargers, etc. The dimensions indicate 20” Long x 12” Wide x 13” Tall. It features carry handles on the top and sides and a clip on padded shoulder strap. Additionally there are some elastic straps on the exterior that could be used for tools with handles, a tape measure, etc. It has six interior pockets on one long side of the bag but I wish they had pockets all the way around the interior. There are two exterior pockets but they are not very deep. The bag is constructed of 1680D ballistic nylon and the zippers are heavy duty and should hold up to years of wear. The bottom of the bag is a hard shell base plate that has the PACKOUT hooks and locking clip.

Excellent heavy duty, large capacity bag The 20" Packout Tool Bag has a ton of storage capacity. It is now the bag I keep for going into the majority of clients homes. Currently I have my tool belt with tools, a 1/2" Hammer Drill, Surge Impact, M18 Oscillating multitool, , multitool blades and sanding pads, a corded drill, several drill bit cases, extra pencils and tape measures, chalk reel, jab saw, framing hammer, mallet, and some miscellaneous hand tools. With all that in there it is very heavy but the bag holds and moves comfortably. The hard base that clicks into the packout system keeps everything stable. The side handles are perfect for picking the bag up or holding sleeves of larger drill bits in the side pockets and I strap my dust mask there. The front has a ton of loops that you can attach things to and put carbiners through. I have a tool lanyard stored here. The top zipper is stout and strong. I like having the bag as opposed to the tote because I can close everything up and not worry about items out in the open. All the handles are strong and durable. The strap makes carrying the weight comfortable and is very convenient. There are two things that I would modify. First, the inside pockets are nice but I wish there were more of them. Second, the outside side pockets are great but could be deeper. Overall I am very happy with this bag and really like its addition to the packout system. The bag is big but not too big and it is great for having my most commonly used tools in so that I can grab it and go.

The Milwaukee Packout tool bag is extremely versatile. It's great for storing bulky tools such as corded tools, large wrenches or work lights, but this tool bag is tough enough to carry hammer, chisels and pry-bars without tearing through the bag. Milwaukee designed this bag to be tough! I like the hardshell bottom that is designed to lock on to the Milwaukee Packout tool system. The hardshell keeps the bag clean and dry when set on wet ground. I also like the variety of tool bag carry options; the well constructed shoulder strap, top handles and side handles with sewn loops for clip hooks. As I build my Milwaukee Packout tool system, I'm glad to have this tool bag as an extension to the versatile Packout component system. A great size that is well proportioned.
