Best blade for wood cutting I've seen
The triple ground teeth on this blade might remind you of the movie monster in “Alien” but when you start to cut it will look like a beaver on speed. I have never owned an oscillating blade like this one. It is the quickest wood cutter I have ever seen. I have tried it on plywood, fir, laminate flooring and sheetrock and have been happy with its performance on all of them. The thin kerf gives you precision cuts that are almost as smooth as if they had been sanded. This blade is really great for cutting the bottoms of door frames when you are putting in flooring or carpet. It also zips right through sheetrock for plunge cuts for outlet or switch boxes. This is definitely superior to a standard oscillating tool saw blade. The blade is designed to fit almost any brand of oscillating tool.

Ever since these type blades have come into the market, the jobs they perform efficiently are also endless. Packaging is enticing and very informative, meant to hang off slotted display boards for easy reach. Putting titanium on the actual saw teeth is a great enhancement preventing scaling, especially in storage or the tool box. This particular line includes and adapter for some applications. In my case, not needed. The rate of cut thru the work is impressive, I prefer moderate pressure on the direction that your cutting for best results.

SUPER SHARP I love Japanese pull saws and I love oscillating multi-tools. So putting the two together makes sense! The blade comes with an adapter for dremel brand multi-tools, and the blade fits all sorts of different brands. I like that it also comes with a protective grease on it, too. The blade teeth are staggered providing constant cutting power from both directions as the tool oscillates. This blade belongs to anyone working in finish carpentry, woodworking, or even furniture makers.

This Milwaukee 2 1/2 inch Japanese Tooth Hardwood Cutting Blade is a high quality product that fits on most multi-tools and is designed to cut hardwoods but will cut soft woods as well. I had not had any experience with Japanese tooth blades but when you look at the teeth you will see that it's like there's a double row of teeth. It cuts a slightly wider kerf than the regular wood blades that are more commonly used on multi-tools. This blade is sharp and be careful when mounting it to your tool because it's easy to get cut. I tried it on my Ryobi multi-tool and also a Ridgid multi-tool and it fit both perfectly. Included in the blade's package is an adapter that will allow use on Dremel multi-tools. It works real well and should last a long time because it is made of high-speed steel. It's an excellent blade.

This blade really surprised me, I did not have any jobs to use it on at this time but wanted to see how well it would cut hard wood. So I got a piece of black walnut and a piece of Maple two very hard woods just to test it out. I clamped the piece of black walnut to my table and then cut a piece off about a 3" cut in a 1" thick piece. Cut through it with no problems at all, Then I cut the block of maple by cutting a 3" line about 1" deep then cut from the side and took out a chunk of hard maple. what really surprised me the most is no burn marks on the maple from the blade. This is one very nice blade will come in very handy in the future. Again I just wanted to see how well it would cut hard wood and it cut with out any problems so this will come in very handy when I am doing small project and need to make minor cut to make a sure fit and will save me from having to file and sand for hours trying to get the perfect fit. Just another great product from Milwaukee. Outstanding Blade.

I was surprised when I found out Milwaukee sold Universal Dremel Blades. I was really looking forward to using the 21/2" High Carbon Steel Japanese Teeth Hardwood Cutting Blade. It cuts fast, and precise. I was able to do crosscuts, and long cuts on LVP flooring 8mm thick. All the cuts were clean, no tear out, no fuzzy edges. The cuts through thick pine wood were quick, and clean too. I used my Dremel Model #6300 set on #2. The metal is a premium high carbon steel. It cuts hardwood, softwood, PVC, and drywall. The teeth are triple ground for faster, cleaner cuts. A higher quality product will last longer, and cost less in the long run. It does come with an adapter for Model # MM45 & MM50. This Japanese Hardwood blade is my new blade for the floor project. I highly recommend this blade for precise, clean cuts.

Works as advertised. Fits into my Dewalt oscillating tool easily and works at different cutting angles. Used it on a mahogany table I am working on and it made excellent and accurate cuts. Also used it on pine and it cut just as accurately, although you have to be more careful with the softer wood as it has a tendency to "wander" easily. Overall, it is a good product that is well made.

My multi-tool has seen action far beyond what it was originally purchased for, and the introduction of new blades like these makes it even more useful. These Japanese-style blades are perfect for applications where a precise and fine cut is needed such as adjustments to moulding and trim, cutouts for outlet boxes in cabinets, and even trimming off shims when installing doors. It really is amazing how clean the cut is. Multi-tools have become valuable time-savers, and these new types of blades and have the ability to make such precise cuts that it is difficult to imagine what other tool could fill the job. These blades add another dimension to the versatility of the tool, and while they aren’t cheap, if your time is worth anything they should be considered a good deal. And, they are only called Japanese blades due to the style of saw tooth, which is widely used there. They are actually made in USA!

These Japanese tooth blades have a very aggressive double row of beveled teeth. The tooth pitch is 16.5 tpi with a cross cut profile. The blade body thickness is 0.027” with a kerf width of 0.040” (see photo). The cross cut teeth work best of course cutting diagonally or across the grain – see photo showing cuts on a piece of oak – in a rip cut, the double row tooth configuration initially tends to “wander” but once let-in, continues with ease. The Pro-Curve aids to ease the blades into the cut. This is a great blade overall, but one use that should be avoided is under cutting a door jamb (flush cutting) because of the kerf tooth set. This ten pack also includes an adapter for Dremel models MM45 & MM50.

I am very happy with these blades. They really do a great job of cutting through hardwood and go through soft woods such as pine, like a hot knife through butter. The cuts were very clean and not a lot of chip or tear out when cutting. The blade’s teeth pattern allowed for a nice, smooth and effortless cuts. The blades themselves are made in America from quality materials and appear to hold up well after multiple cuts. I paired my blades with the Milwaukee M18 oscillating tool and think this is a great pairing. The blades are great and the M18 oscillating tool provides plenty of power to move through the wood cleanly. Overall I would recommend these blades and think they are a great investment if you want top results with your projects.
