Yes. It just depends upon your router table adapter plate has the proper screw hole locations that allow for the router bit chuck to be centered correctly within the adapter plate hole.
The 5616-24 kit includes the 5616-20 router which is 2-1/4 HP, variable speed, comes with 2 wrenches, and requires both.
The router come with both 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch collets. Yes, any brand of router bit of 1/4 and 1/2 shank diameter will fit; however, the router bit’s cut diameter cannot exceed the opening of the router’s sub bases.
It comes with both 1/4 and 1/2 inch collets that are easily swappable. Many router bits are widely available in each size.
I’d check the slots in the case it could of fallen in. If it isn’t there go on line and get the customer service number and see about getting a manual sent to you or just go on line and register it and down load yourself a copy.
The Milwaukee 2616-20 router will accept 1/2" shanks.
This router can be used in a variety of tables - there are also table inserts that are made specifically for different routers and can also be drilled to match a specific router
Yes it works on both but if you use an edge guide on the router it won't work
Josh it does work on both. You can fine tune the depth in the fixed base which adjust the motor in the base. In the plunge base application it only adjusts the stop rod. What i have done for lets say making a sign. I'll do a quick pass on a letter check the depth and if need to be deeper I'll undo the stop rod lock knob with the adjustment knob I'll fine tune the cut. Or with the bit in the motor push the base down till the bit just kisses the work surface release the plunge lock lever, lock the stop rod in place use the 3" steel measure plate on the base to set the movable pointer and use the adjusting knob to set the depth desired. You can use the LDA, Linear Depth Adjustment in both bases.
Approximately 9 1/2 inches
