Key to a pad like this is it's ability to sand paint without clogging the surface. I have only used it on three smaller projects, but am very happy with the results. The Latex paint did not clog up the surface and it worked well on surfaces like wood and wood filler.
It is important to run the multi-tool at the lowest possible/practical speed. You want to remove material but not have friction cause heat which makes the paint rubbery and stick to the sanding pad, filling the voids and rendering it unusable. Heat will also destroy the velcro material and pads no longer stick to the tool.
It is cloth backed making it rugged and it does not tear when hitting edges or nails. It works better than the pads which came with the tool!

This triangle shaped sandpaper is designed to be used with Oscillating Multi-Tools. I have an older Craftsman multi-tool but the Milwaukee brand pad and sand paper work great with it. The paper has the locking with hoops system and attaches easily and stays in place while using the tool. Changing the sand paper is a breeze and quick! The dust extraction hole placements on the pad allow me to use my wet/dry vaccuum attachment tool, keeping the surrounding areas cleaner making clean up more efficient. I used Grit 80 prior to using the 120 to help even out and clean up the surface.
Using this 120 grit paper as the final sanding step gave a very smooth finish and makes my project look like I paid a professional.
Lastly, the packaging clearly lets me see the Grit Size and how many pads of paper are in the package. Each pad really does last quite a while and I think one package should last long enough for me to finsih the 3 doors I am working on.
I'm really happy with these and will buy more. I'm hoping to not have to use the block for sanding ever again.

This triangle shaped sandpaper is designed to be used with Oscillating Multi-Tools. I have an older Craftsman multi-tool but the Milwaukee brand pad and sand paper work great with it. The paper has the locking with hoops system and attaches easily and stays in place while using the tool. That's a huge bonus for me. Changing the sand paper is a breeze! The dust hole placements on the pad allow me to use my wet/dry vacuum attachment tool, keeping the surrounding areas cleaner than if the dust wasn't collected. The grit cuts through the sanding area nicely, effectively and almost effortlessly, but I will have to use a finer grit paper (probably 120) after using the 80-grit for final sanding for a smooth surface to finish my doors project.

I love using my multi-tool for sanding. With this Milkwaukee Triangle Sanding Pad attachment, sanding is almost effortless. The sand pad is perfectly sized for the triangle sand paper. It's easy to lay the sanding paper on the the pad. The paper doesn't slide and the grip of the pad and sanding paper is phenomenal when compared to the sanding pad I had been using. This sanding pad allows corners to be sanded so much easier than traditional sanding blocks or hand held sand paper. The pad is durable, is a hard plastic type material, looks well-made, and the part that connects to the multi-tool is metal.
My only negative about this pad is that I wish it had venting holes that matched up with the sand paper that has holes. The holes allow the vaccuum attachment (that I attach to my multi-tool) to collect the dust. Now my projects will be messier. A one star deduction for this because their own branded sand paper has holes in it so I don't understanding why the pad wouldn't.

Milwaukee 25 piece assortment grit sandpaper for the 3 1/2" Multi-tool adapter. Kit includes 5 each of 60, 80,120,180,240 grit slotted hook & loop pads. Each pad is marked on h&l side with grit grade. Backing material is very sturdy. The grit selections permit easy transition for removal of materials during the sanding process. The design of the pad system permits working in flat surface corners. Having the selection of this kit available permits me to move swiftly through the surface prep phase of my projects without have to change out for another tool.
In my other review of Milwaukee Universal Fit Sand pad I mentioned about using the correct size sandpaper pad for your h&l sand pad. These do fit that unit, but they are slotted for dust removal. So again, make sure to pick the correct paper for your pad design. You can easily damage the h&l by using the wrong paper design or size!

Milwaukee, a name I have trusted for electric tools for decades , has a Universal fit oscillating Sanding pad for Multi-tools. Packet states compatible with most trade name multi-tools (DeWalt, Makita, Rockwell, PC, Fein, Bosch, Craftsman, etc). The unit comes with an adapter for use with Dremel MM45 and MM50 tools. This unit does not work with "star lock" designed retaining systems.
The unit is 3 1/2" wide. This is a bit wider than the original manufacturer pad for my unit. Therefore, OEM pads do not work with this unit. You must use hook & loop pads of correct size. Also, this model is not designed for dust removal option (lacks slots in h&l pattern or elevated platform for vacuum removal.) Choose correct pad design to avoid damaging h&l material on the pad.
The Unit aligns on the 4-point system of my multi-tool with 360 degree turning ability. It locks securely, and offers no wobble on base during use. The h&l material is industrial quality strength.
I recommend this as a considered option to add to the list when selecting accessories for your multi-tool.

Really great sanding pads, I didn't have a single problem with them gumming up or with them wearing out too quickly, they are a little larger that my normal corner sanding pads (see picture attached) and didn't fit on the sanding attachment that came with my multitool, but even then they worked great!
I love that you can get into tight spots with these sander pads and I especially like the long life that i saw from them! I was able to use one pad of each grit for a large sanding project and was able to use them over and over again before I needed to throw them away.
Just make sure the sanding attachment you have for your multitool says 3 1/2" on it! I will be buying more of these for sure and a sanding attachment that fits the sanding pads better.

What good is a oscillating tool without a sanding attachment? This sandpaper assortment will get you well on your way to sanding whatever your project requires. The set contains 5 different grits - 60, 80, 120, 180, and 240 - which should take care of the roughest paint removal to some pretty fine finish work. They attach with a hook and loop system that holds them securely in place. In my preliminary usage, they appear to last a good amount of time, but that can vary depending the surface being sanded.

One of the things that make the oscillating tool one of the best innovations of the last half century is the number of attachments that make it so versatile. This pad is truly universal and fits my Makita like a glove. The sand paper sections are retained by a velcro-style hook and loop system that holds them securely in place. I have a Ryobi multi tool that came with the standard sanding pad, but I need something that’s built a bit stronger and can handle tougher jobs. So no surprise a Milwaukee version was just what I was looking for. This is well built and doesn’t feel cheap at all. It was a little tough getting on but you really just have to work it in to get it into place, then it’s all good. This is a great replacement for the stock sanding pads that come with some multitools.
