A: Hi Alton- These bits are for use with a hammer drill/driver in concrete, block, and brick.
A: Hello! This bit is for use in concrete, block, and brick.
A: Hello! This Bit is ideal for use in Concrete, Brick and Block
A: Yes. The hole in the wood might not be very pretty. You might consider drilling most of the way through the board first with a conventional bit, and then switching to the masonry bit to finish the board and do the concrete. The board will not harm the masonry bit.
A: I wouldn't as it's designed for concrete. Use an appropriate wood drill bit until you're through the board then switch to the concrete drill bit.
A: It would be better to drill a 3/8 hole through the wood first and then drill with this bit. Remember you need a hammer drill to use this bit effectively.
