The wheels are "solid". See attached photo of the wheel.
Maybe, if you didn't overload it. Doing that kind of work, I would go with the heaver duty one. I only use this to wheel around a small 5lb. propane bottle for my weed burner. It works good for something like that.
It would depend on the weight of the item carried..

It is a "solid" wheel made out of plastic and rubber.
Unless it was in some sort of container, I wouldn't. First, that would be unsanitary. Second, I think the beef would slide between the uprights.
