This twisted wire wheel works really well with stripping paint on metal and has really good durability compared to quick-strip discs. Its only downside is it does not strip down to bare metal very easily. I use this in my 4-1/2" angle grinder with 5/8" arbor and it stripped paint for about 1 hour, with the wire wearing down about half way. Keep in mind, this is almost 70 years of paint on wrought iron. It performed well, it just skips off edges when it hits them in the right direction. It also got into tight areas but only as tight as my grinder would allow. Overall, it's pricey but a long-lasting and effective wire wheel. I tightened it on the arbor with pliers. This twisted wire wheel is made in the USA.
