A:  no, this wire brush has a 5/8ths-11 thread which is used on our 4.5 grinders.

A:  It is designed for a 5/8-11 spindle, so a 5/8-11 threaded rod will fit. 1/2 rod will be too small. You’d also need a 5/8-11 coupler nut and some lock nuts if you wanted to try to extend it off of an angle grinder...and your grinder won’t be particularly happy about that arrangement. If you intended to use it as a hand operated wire brush I’d still grab a couple 5/8-11 nuts to lock the wire wheel in place on the threaded rod. Good luck!

          Answer This Question

A:  Only you can answer this question. What size is your spindle? You cannot answer the question without knowing that. This brush fits a 5/8" spindle, which is stated in the description.

          by|Jan 30, 2021

A:  As long as your Ryobi has a 5/8"-11 spindle thread on it, this wheel will work.

I beat on it for about 4 hours straight. Heavy rust removal from a jeep frame. It held up pretty good. Eventually it’s just ate itself but it did the job hard for the time I used it.
