40 in. W x 22.1 in. D 6-Drawer Mobile Workbench with Stainless Steel Top

I've been looking for a mobile workbench and tool storage solution while my garage is under construction. They had several possible options at my local HD but this Milwaukee unit stood out! It's significantly heavier than the other brands and is "heavy duty" for sure. They were all assembled so I got to pick the best one. They get sort of beat up in the store but having one shipped has potential issues as well. I needed mine to push/pull from the other side so I swapped the handle and swivel casters. The bottom steel frame is heavy and welded. The ball bearing slide drawers operate smoothly and the "auto/soft-close" feature is really nice. The integrated power and USB charges are a nice touch. You can also store the cord internally if not needed. The caster wheels are a good material and not to hard. They have ball bearing swivel plates with zerk/grease fittings. They lock up solid and prevent movement under typical circumstances. I'm even considering mounting a vise on mine. The stainless steel top seems like it will hold up to abuse. The core is High Density Fiberboard. It can be removed if you are handy with tools. I replaced mine with a butcher block top that HD had as well. The included drawer liners are a nice touch and the bottom drawer has an insert to hold your power tools. I haven't installed a charger on the side but plan to. The vertical edge trim was not installed on my unit so be sure you get them. They are held in place by the rubber corner bumpers, mine were installed incorrectly. This will serve as a moveable reloading bench for me.

Overall I appreciated how solid this was at the store. The workbench feels very stolid and stable. It does not have the twist and wobble that some competitors do. I am disappointed, though, with how easily the top dings. It seems they maybe should have gone up a level or two in thickness or strength of the stainless steel. Or maybe supported it better so that it does not dent as easily. It has a number of dings in just a week of normal use in my garage.

Excellent product. The SS top does scratch up; you will not be able to keep it pristine. But the SS shouldn’t rust once it gets dinged up. Drawers function excellently, and I like the choice of drawer sizes. It easily fits my basic set of tools, and won’t leave me wanting 5 years down the road. You get what you pay for. However, avoid the pre-assembled units. It’s a testament to the product that it didn’t come damaged. Your location may do better than mine did, but I’d recommend you to have them ship you a new one in its box and assemble it yourself.

Saw this in the store, and decided it would do well to replace my professional tool cart. The stainless steel top and the smaller size make it easy to push around and use as a workbench. I have had it for 3 weeks know and worked on a few cars with it at it has been amazing. Gives more space, plus a solid work top that is better than the Husky work tops.

I actually own 2 of these boxes. I love the stainless top which is hard to find in toolboxes in this price range. The drawer configuration is what sold me on these. The full width drawers are very handy for storing wrench sets, ratchets, extensions, etc. I have it loaded down with tools and I roll it over to where I’m working in the shop with no problems. The soft close drawers are also a big plus. It’s a very sturdy heavy built box. For the money, it can’t be beat.

Strong sturdy construction that would be expected from Milwaukee. Ended up mounting this Box in a Support truck for the job site. Needless to say our team members are rough on stuff but this has held up! *Personal Note* We are actually looking to convert it back to a shop box but can not seem to find a place to buy the parts for the wheels/bumpers/shelf. Wish there was a easy way to find and buy the replacement parts.

Bought this as a storage for my tools on my plumbing can. Worked great and was a great boon in that capacity, but once I got it out the van and in the shop that's when I found the power strip didn't work. Don't ever try and get any info on replacing that or finding a service center for it.
