Do not use any sawzal blades to cut cast iron use a grinder with metal blade or a hammer depending on how brittle it is.

Can this blade be used to cut acrylic plastic .050” to .118” thick?

I don,t see why not it will cut steel just depends on how smooth you want the cut edges! But I believe they make tools just for that purpous
