The Milwaukee Hole Dozer Hole Saw features Rip guard, the strongest tooth form in the industry, backed by the Rip guard limited lifetime tooth break warranty. Each tooth is built with more steel behind the cutting edge for added strength. The Rip Guard warranty on tooth breaks is a first for the hole saw industry. The added tooth strength along with 8% cobalt give added life to the teeth, allowing for increased productivity on the jobsite, as well as continued hole quality. The Hole Dozer includes Plug Jack, an all access slot design that allows for full access during plug removal. The Plug Jack gives access lower into the cup for thick material and higher towards the teeth for thin material. With multiple positions to apply leverage and better plug access, Plug Jack increases productivity and eliminates wasted downtime between holes. For fast, tool-free change-outs, use Milwaukee's universal Quick-Change Arbors. 49-56-7210.

The last ones I purchased a few years ago were made in the USA. There are no markings on the product. Maybe there is on the packing which I don't keep. Very good product though. I have several sizes.

Which size hole dozer should i use to make a bathroom vent on the side of my wooden siding wall.

Asked by Mike May 6, 2020

Answer

You need to measure the size of the pipe that runs through the wall, or the outlet of your vent. That size can be different according to the vent output. After you get that measurement then that's the size of the hole dozer you want. If the dozer says 4" that means the hole diameter will be 4" plus a small amount for wiggle room. I have had vents at 3" and at 4". Measure twice, cut/drill once. You've got this.

7/8 inch is good
Clicked on write a review for 7/8 inch. Don't know why it went to 6 inch. Anyways, the 7/8 inch drilled 16 holes in a stainless still hood control box (using wd40 as lube) before it burn to a frazzle which is pretty good. Would recommend

I got the 2 inch Hole Saw.
2 in. Hole Dozer Bi-Metal Hole Saw : I have the Ryobi Bi-Metal Door install set. Have had many years and have used the 2" 1/8 hole saw part of the kit to drill alot of holes in doors and other things when I need at least a 2 inch hole. Been working on drilling soffit holes for vents in old add on construction on my house. They cut off the eves and rafters and hung a fascia board and installed a flat roof full length of the rear of the house. covered up 50 feet of continue-es soffit venting. Drilled a few holes and got bearings on where they need to go exactly. Ryobi hole saw is just plain worn out, to much work. This Dozer blade is threaded for 5/8 arbor and fit the Ryobi arbor perfect.... It cuts holes very quickly and cleanly , and easy to pop out wood plug. It has many holes on the outside of the blade and I notice this blade does not drag in the hole while cutting. Coming from a wore out hole saw blade, the Dozer is night and day in cutting effort and speed... Thumbs up I did not have to purchase a proprietary arbor !!

This was used to install some outdoor puck lights in soft pine T and G with excellent results, it cut the wood rather than tearing it.

3 uses and then dull
We used this 6 inch hole saw to cute 3 holes in a DRYWALL ceiling for can lights. After the 3rd cut the teeth were all flat and would not even scratch the surface of the 4th hole. Complete garbage and a waste of money. Will be returning to the store as now all I have is a $45 paper weight

This hole saw worked excellently - the only issue I had was with the arbor piece which was difficult to utilize and I had to go back to my Home Depot for assistance and even they had to look on YouTube to see how to set it up. Once it was done I was able to bang out the holes I needed for some drink holders - see pic. Also would say this definitely should work with a hand powered drill but was very efficient on my drill press as the arbor does have a 1/2" chuck.
