A:  I have used my Milwaukee cutter for brad nails without any problems.

A:  Unfortunately, there is no indication on the packaging or on the Milwaukee website as to what these cutters will cut. I only intend to use them to cut copper and soft metal, so I expect these to meet my needs. If you need to cut harder wire, you may want to look at mini-bolt cutters or other brand cutters designed to cut piano wire and other harder metals.

            Don’t buy these side cutters
I’m an electrical apprentice and these are the worst side cutters. It will barely cut a romex 14-2 wire. Might have to buy another brand even though most of my tools in my pouch are Milwaukee.

Not to small or to big, perfect fit for me...
Not to small or to big, perfect fit for me and works great with all the wiring I strip and cut, and the small crimper in the back works awesome for the beanies I crimp.

Almost enough to just say it is a Milwaukee
I've purchased and received from seeds a large variety of Milwaukee hand tools in the last year. They have exceeded my expectations in every way. Their designers are taking the time to make sure a tool is as useful as possible. The cutting edge is sharp, and cuts with little effort. It takes much less effort of other diagonal cutters of the same size I tried. As you can see in the picture included, there are textured edges on the back side handle and on the outside of the cutting edges. The back side is useful as a crude pliers. This is designed for helping to pull fish tape, with the cutters already in your hand. It works well for that. The outside edge works as a reamer. I found these are great for hitting the inside of conduit to take the edge off. It just gives a little more piece of mind without having to pull up another tool. Less tools on the belt, more chance you pants stay up. ;) The other feature that these have over many diagonal cutters is the cutting edge flush with the side. This allows for flush cutting, rather than just close to flush. They are more expensive than other diagonal cutters. And they are worth it.

                Sharp cutters
They finally fixed the problem. Their old cutters did not close all the way at the tip so trying to cut things sometimes was hard. They also have a very comfortable grip on them. The head also has a pipe reamer on it. Great set of pliers that are very sharp.
