This adapter is just what I needed to attach to the bare wires to find the circuit breaker. The alligator clips are large enough with appropriate strength to hold onto the wire. I highly recommend this product when finding circuit breakers on bare wires.

Recived this thinking I was getting a complete kit? In fact this is a accessory kit foe the tester. Since I have no tester ,I was not able to try. Came packaged well and looks like all you need to identify circuits weather it wire,outlets our lights. Milwaukee make good stuff. I sure it would work great if you have the tester. Was not able to find the tester?

This is great when you have wires that are buried in the wall by a previous owner that never capped them or killed them hook the two ends up to the wires Plug-in the adapter for your Milwaukee tester go down to your breaker panel and it will light up the breaker that is running that wire and once you know the wires are live or not. then you can try and figure out where it feeds into a junction box undo the wires, so don’t have live wires in the wall. Gets used very little but great when you need it

This Circuit breaker finder accessory kit is good fit for tracking circuits , you will need the circuit finder tool to utilize this kit. I am using another brand receiver and meter but it all works the same. This kit allows you to attach different ways to the circuit. The kit with the circuit finder tool works great and with different options allows some options. Our latest project was identifying all the plugs in the house and which breaker was controlling them . The accessory kit came with pretty good instructions – my guess is that they do not want to be liable for any mishaps setting up the accessories. The bare wire connectors don’t come with instructions other than hot and neutral wires comment. The alligator clips are black and red as in DC circuits, but AC should represent black and white wires or be labeled as such. The quality of materials is high, rugged and should last a lifetime. One must have a circuit breaker finder to be able to use the accessories. Each of the accessories helps find one of the three types of electrical sources; light bulb socket outlet, 3 and 2 prong receptacles and exposed wires that are not connected to a source yet. This Milwaukee Circuit Breaker Finder accessory kit is a quality built kit that's made to help finding a circuit breaker much easier depending on the plug or outlet. Positive: The kit came in a standard plastic molded package, wasn't too hard to open with a utility knife. The alligator clips and insulation are of good quality as well as the plastic used for the adapters. The alligator clip adapter was useful there if you had bare wire, you could connected the circuit breaker finder plug into it. The light socket adapter and 2-prong adapter also make it easier for older houses or when trying to find what circuit a light bulb is connected to. Negative: There were very minimal negatives to this product. The only thing I did not like was when I plugged in my circuit breaker finder or any plug into any of the sockets, it was almost impossible to remove the plug when I was done. It is good that there is a tight grip on the plug when you plug it in and not loose so it will fall out but it was extremely tight and hard to pull out. Overall: This circuit breaker finder accessory kit equips you with multiple ways to attach your circuit breaker finder and more easily find what circuit breaker is attached to which outlet or light socket. The items in the kit are made of high quality and should last for a long time, the only caveat is that the socket grips the plug a bit too tight so be aware. All in all, I would still recommend this product.
