What is the warranty on a tape measure?
Like anything made in the USA, there is an expiration date, usually located inside the housing. Take the thing apart, but be careful about the spring-loaded taper. Once you have seen the date, add 7/8th" for each expired months. Next time: metric!

I searched all over the tape measure, including all 25' of the tape, but did not locate the country where it is made.

What is the model number for this tape that does not have the "fraction scale"? I do not want this feature...
Hi Brett - unfortunately, we have the fraction scale on all of our auto lock tape measures. As an alternative, we recommend the 48-22-0425

I'm assuming (hoping) the tape width is supposed to be 1.5" not .5" like it has in the specs..
My 16' Autolock measures just shy of 7/8" wide, edge to edge.

It is not 0.5" as the Web site says. It is 1" wide when flattened out (tape has a natural arc to it).

No, it is 1" wide and not 1/2". Also, the standout is only about 8.5', not 12'.

It says limited, theres always exclusions!!
