? Yes work Gray
It should work well with a fiberglass door.
This kit does not include any tools for installing the strike plate on a door frame. I would recommend buying a door with the area for the strike plate already routed out. If that is not an option for you then you'll need to chisel out the strike plate area on the door frame yourself or hire a professional to do it.
Looked up the model LDX120 and I can't see why not.
It didn't work for me. The clamp doesn't stay in place and when it moved, the saw also moved and damaged the surface of the door next to the hole.
This tool was supposed to be for DIY idiots like myself, and it worked for the most part except one of the larger drill bit got jammed and I couldn’t replace it with the smaller drill bit. Actually took the piece to Ace Hardware, where they put the piece in a vice and was finally able to detach it with a plumbers wrench. The holes were cut very cleanly though. PRO TIP: I think about the hole that the bolt retracts into.
2 1/2 inch was what I used. other sizes were available
Yes, they are in the kit. I'm attaching a shot from a video I found on YouTube that shows them as part of the clip. Here's the YouTube link to the online review: https://youtu.be/midMNqzgto8
Most likely they are to make pilot holes for face plate, latch and deadbolt housing security screws
I checked the one I bought about a week ago. The jaws will open to 2", however, there are rubber pads on both side of the jaws to protect the door. I think the maximum door thickness is more like 1 7/8 and it may be a tight fit then.
