The Milwaukee FASTBACK™ 6-in-1 Folding Utility Knife (48-22-1505) does not have a 45° lock position. It is designed with a spring lock mechanism that secures the blade in the fully open position (180°) for cutting and fully closed for storage.
Hi, Caleb. The FASTBACK™ 6IN1 Folding Utility Knife weighs 1 lb.
I returned mine that did the same thing. No receipt, it was beat up and about a year old
This must be an issue with Milwaukee's bit- holding design (tiny ball bearing held in place by a metal tension band). I have a Milwaukee 27 in 1 screwdriver and the extension did the same thing making it pretty much useless. Thanks for this review!
Hey there! If you look on the bottom side of the knife you will see a lock that just needs to be moved to fold it back in, if you need any further assistance please email us at social.media@milwaukeetool.com!
That worked to retract the knife but not the bit holder. Mine is still extended straight out.
With knife in hand bit side up slide clip to right as in picture and fold bit holder back to knife.
Look at this video around 3:00 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ia711ZixVkE If the video doesn't work, I think it's called a liner lock or frame lock in pocket knives. You need to push the metal slat(?) at the base of the bit holder to the side.

Hello! Yes, the FASTBACK 6-in-1 Folding Utility Knives with General Purpose Blade uses a ball bearing to hold bits.
Yes, the one I just bought has it
When purchasing this blade, it does not come with additional blades. You can purchase those separately! - Milwaukee Tool, Social Team
