I highly recommend the this product. I had a fire at my shop Jan. 2023 an lost 30K worth of Milwaukee tools. But some of the packouts survived high temperatures and water. I had my packout vac submerged under water for 48 hrs. I thought it was lost . Fired up, and still use it. But I digress, the holesaws stay sharp and I still use original ones I had from 3 yrs ago. I tell everyone st that big Orange box. Buy Milwaukee it will save you in the long run...

              Great quality, inside and out
This 15-piece set from Milwaukee (#49-22-3097, made in USA from global materials) adds to the large variety of Milwaukee hole saws available, this time with large carbide teeth. Sizes range from 3/4” to 3”, all with 3 TPI carbide teeth. This kit includes two different arbors, a small one with 3/8” hex shaft for the four smaller saws and a larger one with reinforcement pins that fit into the base of the larger saws (but the shaft is 1/2” hex.). The saws and arbors are compatible other Milwaukee arbors and saws, as well as some other brands I tried. Neither arbor can be used with standard 1/4” hex drill/drivers but work fine in drills with an adjustable chuck. The larger arbor has a three-step attachment process: pull down the ring that holds the reinforcement pins and thread in the arbor into the saw; adjust the ring to let the pins seat in the saw; then screw the lock ring up to hold the pin ring in place. It takes a bit of getting used to but it's straightforward and provides a really secure hold. No tools are needed and even after cutting holes I could easily remove the saw from the arbor by hand. The hard case allows storage of all the includes saws plus others if you rearrange the plastic posts and cut relief holes in the foam insert on top. I wish there were extra plastic posts included or available. As with most newer hole saws, chip and plug removal is made much easier thanks to holes and access slots along the sides. The saws cut up to 1-5/8” deep so those plugs can be difficult to access and remove otherwise. I had no trouble cutting clean holes in plywood, ¾” pine or 2x pressure treated lumber, though the large saws grab quickly and can be awkward in a hand-held drill. Still, it was a pleasure to use. I could actually remove the plugs by hand, not needing to pry them out with a screwdriver like I usually do. The set is expensive so it might be economical to start with a smaller set and add saws as needed, but that's an individual choice – and smaller cases may not accommodate any additions. Either way you get the same excellent Milwaukee quality.

              Great hole saws
My review for the Milwaukee dozer carbide tipped hole saw set 15 piece set. I have to to say that I have been using these Milwaukee hole saws for years and they always did the job for me. These cut various materials. I have even managed to cut 1- 1/2 inch holes the 1 inch thick mild steel with these. The new and improved design has more relief holes to help with the removal of material and will also help with dissapation of heat. The kit comes with a nice carrying case . It has added room to grow as you may need other hole saws like I do. Another great Milwaukee product.

Very sharp saw bits. Case is compact and keeps the tools safe from loss.
The 15 piece carbide hole dozer kit is a very nice hole saw kit. The box it comes in has a nice handle made of a nylon webbing strap, not a fold out plastic handle like most. This handle seems like a far more durable option that won't let go as easily as others. In the box there is a nice compartment that holds the twist drills and arbors in place to keep it organized. I cut out and tapped the portion of the cardboard box that said what sizes were included on the lid to this compartment. I had to run some PVC tubing through some plywood and the hole dozer was the perfect tool for the job. I have some steel tubing to cut soon and am excited to see the carbide teeth in action, they should last a lot longer than my old high speed steel set which dulled quickly cutting tubing like that. Overall it is a very solid kit!

This is a very complete, very high quality hole saw set. It comes with 2 arbors, one each for large and small hole saws. The saws are easy to install on the arbors and feel very secure. With the small saws, I found that I needed to use a wrench to remove the saw after making several cuts. I used these with an older (non-brushless) 18V makita compact drill and it had no problem spinning the largest (2 1/2") saw through 2x material at high speed. The coating seems very durable, showing only minor wear after making 6 cuts in 2x material and 2 through a steel-clad exterior door. The blade stayed as sharp as new through this and cutting didn't slow at all. The set comes with 2 replacement pilot bits, which will probably come in handy if you use in material other than wood. As a homeowner, I will probably never need another hole saw set. I have previously gone through a few 2 1/8" saws drilling door knobs, and their quality didn't even approach this.

Being a do it yourself'er you just never know when your going to need to cut a hole in wood, wallboard or some other material. So go these to while doing a project. As you can see my the picture plenty of sizes. The largest bit fit on my small hand held drill with no problem. Each hole saw comes with a drill bit and set into your drill head. Learned through a couple of practice holes the best way is slow and easy. Great set for the DIY'er.

I really like this set. I wanted to install wiring for security system and this set did great easily cut through a variety of wood depths but I have not had the opportunity to use it on metal yet. It is a great set for my home projects. the Teeth are large and sharp and make clean holes with attached to my Milwaukee drill. The variety of hole sizes and their quality construction should make this a well used set for my home projects.

This is the first set of high-quality holesaw‘s that I’ve ever owned, my previous versions were cheap knock offs that came from the freight store. The plastic box is super well-made with a great handle and case for easy storage. I like that it comes with two different size of pilot bit housings to accommodate the smaller and larger hole saws and especially the larger one for fitting into my larger electric drill. I mainly use these four finished holes into countertops for cabling grommets and finished wood for the same. The saws don’t tear up the word too terribly bad (if taped) and make for a nice clean hole into finished woodwork. They seem to cut through harder woods like Maple and Oak fairly easily. Very happy with the overall quality and the quality of cuts that I’m getting from the saws.

This is a real nice set of hole saws that will come in handy for your handyman projects. The cutter sizes are good for most any job. There are two drill shafts of different size and the large one will be too big for some small light drills. I like that the cutters are made for deep cuts in thick materials. The carbide tips should last a long time. This is a better quality set of cutters than you will find at the discount tool stores.

This is a great set of hole saws. What I use them for is a little different than what most people use them for, but I do a lot of wooden toy building with wooden wheels of different sizes. It was always a hassle to use my adjustable cutter to make different size wheels for a toy. These hole saw makes it super easy and accurate every time. Just a matter of exchanging blades to make different sizes. The wheels are easy to remove from the blades just by unscrewing the blade from the center drill and slide out. Gives me a nice clean cut with the axle hole dead center, only thing left to do is sand them a little and stain and ready to go on the toy.
