Q:Are any of the picks good for pulling cotter pins from ball joints or front end steering linkage?

Answer This Question
A:Â I mainly use them for removing O-rings from oil filter grooves just to give u an idea of their stature. I'm not saying it can't remove a cotter pin I'd rather use a pair of needle nose pliers for that. But the pick set is good.

A: Hello Danny - Mechanics often move from mini to hose picks when they need specific shapes to pry under hoses and gain longer reach to access their work while providing durability and leverage. Each pick has a specific angle for different applications and comes in 90°, 45°, flat, and hook hose pick types, all with reinforced metal tips that resist bending when loosening stubborn hoses. - Social Team

The tools themselves are fine, just average, the packaging is way too much.

Nice metal tips but a little disappointed on the plastic handles for a Milwaukee product. I do expect higher build quality when I buy a Milwaukee product but it still gets 5 stars because of the nice details such as markings on the ends of the handles so if you look down from the top in a peg board you can see what you’re grabbing.

Love the carry case and the square end sockets. Very high quality. Also purchased the 1/4 and 1/2 inch sets as well in SAE and metric. It’s also great that the cases come with removable tool cabinet drawer tray that keeps all the pieces in place inside my tool chest. I have many different brands of hand tools that I keep at different work locations…..Craftsman, Kobalt, Gear Wrench, Husky, and Mac. Milwaukee tools are by far the best value for the money, and I love the life time 100% guarantee!

Never would have thought Milwaukee would make such a quality set of hand tools.
When I purchase the Milwaukee Socket Set I didn't know what to expect.
As I opened the blow molded Box , I saw a complete set of 3/8 SAE short and deep and short and deep metric sockets. along with a 90 tooth ratchet and 2 extensions and a swivel .It has a removable tray for a tool box if desired.
As I took the sockets out to look at them and see the brilliant Chrome finish and square ends that will stop them from rolling and let you put a wrench on them if extra torque is needed I was very impressed.
The quality and the price point is way better than any mobile tool truck could possibly offer for way less than 1/10 of Price as well.
Milwaukee Proved again that they Only sell the Best Tools.
I must admit I bought the 1/4 & 1/2 inch set as well I was so impressed.
And bought a set for my Son and Son in law.
Thanks MILWAUKEE !!

They work very well and it is nice that they have + and - signs on the top so you can see what they are from above.

Good till they're not
I was really happy with these. The grips are nice and they felt like quality sturdy drivers. Then I had to unscrew a tough screw and I had a flathead completely sheer off. I don't know if I just produce too much torque or if there was a defect in this 1 driver. Managed to unscrew it with the longer one provided in the set. Now i have a pretty good pick at least.

Very nice socket set. Ratchets are very heavy and have a nice feel to them. Case is nice and compact without a ton of extra blow molding so it fits almost anywhere.

I purchased these to use as my everyday set (never can have enough screwdrivers). First impression were very well made. Soft grip handles make it easier to apply more force for torque when needed. They are all magnetic which is another plus. The only way I will need to ever replace these is if I lose one or it walks off.
