Yes it's permanent. I haven't had a single issue with running yet and have used it on just about every type of material. There is a small amount of bleeding depending on the pressure you use but with light pressure you get near perfect lines. Definitely worth trying.

I've never tried it with this marker but you can remove sharpie from almost anything with spray sunscreen. wipes right off!

The Ink will last approximately two years with direct sunlight I use the marker to put a date on outside AC units The markers spot does fade over time but seems to last about two years
