A:  No. The M18 inflator will do that.

A:  Unless they have recently released an “upgraded” model, the answer is no. If you use the target pressure setting (as opposed to just running it “manually”, starting and stopping it yourself) you pick the target pressure and hit the start button. It does its best to hit that target pressure and then stops. It will continue to display the target pressure and actual pressure until you take it loose or until it “goes to sleep” and powers down. I say “does its best” because the smaller the tire is the faster the pressure rises and the greater chance it has of missing the target, typically by overshooting it. Truck, car & Harley motorcycle tires are rarely an issue. Smaller motorcycle tires and particularly lawn mower, wagon and hand truck tires are best done “manually” with short pauses to make sure you hit the target & don’t overshoot. On the other hand, what you’re describing IS a feature of the M18 inflator. Once it reaches the target it will pause and wait a few seconds. If the pressure drops back below the target during those few seconds it will top it off. It continues to do that until it holds the target pressure for the entirety of that few second period after shutting off. That M18 feature only applies to the few seconds after reaching the target. If your intent is to find something that will maintain a pressure on the fly the inflators will not work. Besides the fact that they don’t work that way they also have a battery saver sleep function. You would need an actual compressor with some extra equipment so you could maintain a set pressure with a high degree of resolution and a low pressure glide differential.
