The MILWAUKEE M12 ROVER Compact Pivoting Flood Light w/ USB Charging gives users a flexible source of light made for any environment, in any orientation. The light provides 700 lumens of TRUEVIEW High Definition Output, is capable of lighting up a workspace for up to 24 hours at a time with an M12 4.0Ah Battery Pack, and features a light head that pivots 120° to orient light in multiple directions. The light comes equipped with a strong rear-facing magnet made for jobsite surfaces like steel studs, I-Beams, and job boxes, and the streamlined form factor of the light's base gives users a handheld option for inspection lighting. Included with the light is a 2.1Amp USB port for charging a phone or external device. For non-metallic surfaces, the light also includes an integrated keyhole for hanging capability. The compact pivoting flood light is IP54 rated for dust and water resistance, has an impact resistant lens protecting the LEDs, and can survive up to 9ft drops. So versatile
Yep! This little light is all it’s cracked up to be. The magnet, the USB charger (are use an adapter/dongle so that I can charge USB-C with it, kinda wish they would’ve had a little bit more clever design in this department,)and the keyhole slot makes it extremely versatile. I’m not gonna ramble on, if you don’t have it you missing out.

strong magnet
This rover m12 light has a strong magnet, also very bright light and durable. I highly recommend this product to for anyone that has to do service work, especially in a commercial setting where you'll have metal to attach this to.

Good light but fragile
I have ha this light for about 3 months. In that time light was dropped from about 3 feet multiple time. First or second drop the screws pulled out of light body. Replaced screws with longer after a few more falls those pulled out. Used zip ties to hold it together. As it got dropped parts broke until the light separated from the body of the light. I'm a mechanic using the light to work on cars but could easily see the abuse it gets being equivalent to falling off a ladder or being kicked by accident. Light is very bright charge port works very well 2.0 batteries last about 6 hours on high. If you are really nice to it it's an amazing light just expected it to hold up better for the cost

I don’t say this lightly, best tool I have
I have done 2 complete home renovations and in that time I have bought a lot of tools. I am also a robotics coach for a local school and we have bought a lot of tools. Yet this is the most useful and compact tool I have. See Photo captions for full notes.

Best work light I have ever used. Runs all day...
Best work light I have ever used. Runs all day on high with 4.0 battery. The magnet and the swiveling head make it incredibly versatile. It can light up an entire attic or crawl space and yet it small enough to fit in a belt pouch. It’s become one of my most used tools.

Awesome light with a built-in USB charger
My daughter purchased this light for me just after the tornado that hit our neighborhood on Thursday took the power out at the same time. I am invested in the Milwaukee M12 eco system and needed a something that would light whatever room I was in and also be able to charge my phone, this amazing little light worked flawlessly in both departments and saved the day. Not only is this light bright enough to light up the entire living room, but my children were able to contact me on my fully charged phone thanks to the built-in USB charging port. Battery life is excellent and I was able to make it through and clean up a lot of the debris both inside and out until the power was turned back on. Awesome light/charger combo that will also come in handy for my job as a maintenance technician when working on electrical issues, plumbing jobs or anywhere there is not enough light to work otherwise. Yet another fine product from Milwaukee M12 tools.

Awesome Light
Saw this light in their "Special Buy" section but it was always out of stock. I was impressed by the amount of positive reviews this item had so I checked stock availability almost daily but I also set up the stock alert. About a week later, I received the notification so I immediately purchased 2 of them (@ 11:42 am). Received them today and my impression of the M12 Rover light is "WOW !!!" Magnet is super strong, light is compact yet extremely bright. Great addition to my array of other M12 tools. Glad I ordered 2 at $59 because the price has jumped back up to $124 today.......though it still says "Special Buy"

Amazing Milwaukee Lighting Tool
I was very excited about purchasing this flood from Milwaukee since its release date! Great flood light for several different applications, mainly used as a service and repair light while working on the car. It’s also helped while fixing my bicycles, the strong magnets hold firmly to my mechanic’s repair stand. 700 lumens distrubes bright, clear light throughout the work area. Being able to use one M12 battery, provides power, long runtime, while have the option to recharge through USB is extremely beneficial.

This is a handy little work light. It has two brightness settings, so you can pick the light level you need. The magnets on the back are more then strong enough to hold the light in place. They should resist most bumps without the light moving. If you don't have metal to hold it in place, it also has a keyhole that lets you use a screw or nail to hold it. It also works to sit it on the battery, though it can be knocked over when doing that.
Once you have the light secured, you can adjust the angle of the light side to side without moving the base. It doesn't adjust up or down though.
I am not sure how much use I will get out of the USB charging port. It is a nice option to have when you need to charge your phone and don't have anything else available. I guess you could also power other USB devices as well. But I normally use the power-pack from my heated jacket for that. It is much more compact.
