Works great for me (3 years running)
Bought this three years ago. I work in industrial hvac field. I use probably every 2-3 days for 12v and 18v. It charges whatever battery you plug in first at 80% and the secondary battery at 20%. Once first battery is charged then it goes 100% on second battery.

This allows you to send it to us, free of charge, to be evaluated by Milwaukee technicians to determine if your repair is covered under warranty or to provide an estimated max repair price. Great charger. Milwaukee finally added a fan!
Great news, everyone! This newer Milwaukee Super Charger finally has a fan! Not an annoying fan that constantly runs regardless of what the charger is doing (Cough cough, other brands). The built in fan only turns on while a battery is actively charging, and shuts off once charging is complete and the light is solid green! Charges super fast too. Bought the kit that comes with the XC HO 8.0aH battery, battery had 1 bar out of the box. This charger topped it off in around 30 minutes flat, that’s impressive! I wasn’t expecting it to have one since the website and none of the other reviews I’ve read have mentioned it, but I thought it was a great addition!

This Super Charger claims to charge M12 and M18 up to 4 times faster than the regular charger which is included in many kits. I have only M12 tools, so I can't comment on the ability to charge M18 batteries. I didn't get 4X speeds, but this thing definitely charges faster that the standard unit. I'd say more than 2 times but less than 3 times the speed. Indicator lights are explained in a little graphic right on the charger, so you don't need to refer to the book, which explains the light sequence in more detail.

Nice looking and well made charger for all 12 volt and 18 volt Red-lithium batteries. Quality and durability are typical of a product from a brand that is known for well made tools. The Milwaukee super charger is a lot bigger than a standard charger and on the heavy side but if it works as well as advertised I can get use to the differences. This super charger is listed as charging high output M18 batteries ( XC 6.0,XC8.0 and HD12.0 ) four times faster then standard chargers that come with tool kits, combo kits, etc. Right now I own only XC5.0 batteries but have been planning on getting a XC8.0 battery and a RAPID charger. The XC5.0 batteries charge up fully in about an hour which gets me back to my projects faster. The new M12 XC4.0 battery and CP2.0 battery that came with the M12 FUEL SURGE 2 tool combo kit charged in about 45 minutes and 25 minutes respectively. The charger has a fan that keeps the charger and batteries cooler during charging which is a really nice feature and status lights for each battery port. As with other Milwaukee chargers there are key hole slots on back for wall mounting. I was a little surprised that both the 12 volt and 18 volt batteries can not be charged at the same time. ( which ever battery is placed on charger first gets charged and once fully charged the charger charges second battery ) but there is only a few occasions that I can see myself using both 12 volt and 18 volt tools at the same time so sequential charging does not bother me. I am very pleased with the performance of this charger so far and see no issues in the years to come.

What a great product. This charger will charge an eighteen volt battery in a about 10 minutes or less. I'm truly impressed. Milwaukee as done it again. I haven't tried the smaller twelve volt battery socket yet but if it's as quick as the other you'll be working in no time after putting it the charger. The super charger does have an internal fan to keep it cool during charging. Before you charge any Milwaulkee battery, make sure it's completely discharged or at least to it's last light indicator.

Another great product from the people at Milwaukee. The super charger delivers on its claim to charge the high output 12.0 battery in less than an hour. I also like the sequential charging feature that charges one battery than switches to the other battery and charges it. I also like that the battery charger will flash green when the battery charge reaches 80 %. This charger is a bit larger then the other Milwaukee chargers and has a small fan inside to keep the charging process cooler.

This M12 and M18 (12 volt / 18 volt) Lithium- Ion Multi - Voltage Super Charger Battery Charger is a BEAST! We completed a completely depleted M18 3.0 amp hour XC battery in just over 18 minutes and a M18 5.0 amp hour XC battery in under 45 minutes. Now, I do not have any larger batteries to test within my arsenal but, all M12 and M18 batteries made have charging time estimates that are easy to read included within the packaging. Now, this power does have a price...the size is nearly double the size of your standard M12 / M18 Multi - Voltage Charger. It also has a cooling fan some may take time to get use to. On a job site there will be no issue with the fan noise output. There is also a inline fuse which I personally like. Two thumbs up!

I really like this Super Charger for high output batteries like the M18™ HD12.0, which I use with my Milwaukee SDS Max Rotary Hammer. It's definitely an improvement versus a regular charger for all battery types (high output and non-high output). It boasts "up to 4x faster" versus a regular charger for high output batteries, and 1.5-2x faster for most other batteries. It also boasts up to "2x faster" than a Milwaukee Rapid Charger for high output batteries although I found it to be more like 1.7x faster with my M18™ HD 12.0s. Yes, I clocked it. For non-high output batteries, the Super Charger and Rapid Charger are supposed to have similar charge times. Again, I tested that with my M18™ XC5.0’s and M18™ XC3.0’s (both non-high output) and found the Super Charger was ~6 minutes faster than the Rapid Charger. Super!
In addition to faster charging times, I appreciate the green flashing, 80% charge indicator. It allows me to finish a job without waiting for a full charge. And while the charger is bulkier than my other Milwaukee chargers, it is wall mountable so I can keep it off the bench.
I really appreciate that Milwaukee is finding ways to bring charging times a few steps closer to tool running times. Overall another great Milwaukee tool!

I own an assortment of Milwaukee M12 and M18 batteries and find that, although these batteries last a while as it is, need to recharge them to finish a days work. With this Milwuakee Super Charger Battery Charger, running out of battery juice is a thing of the past! Really – this charger charges back batteries to full state insanely fast! I work with lag bolts all day, thus taking a toll on any impact drill. When I'm installing fencing and need to pre-drill holes in fresh moisture-laden pressure-treated wood, that takes a toll on battery life as well. This Super Charger is awesome! LED indicators is self explanatory: continuous red is charging, slow flashing green is approaching full charge, and solid green means charging is complete. With this setup, I have abandoned corded completely. A neat tip about Milwaukee batteries is that they don't develop a memory when charged after only a partial discharge, nor is it necessary to run down a battery pack before charging it. At the beginning of each work day, I top off the batteries and I'm ready to go.
